You don't get opportunities where jagex states an item to be discontinued, we had players paying billions for tokens that were never stated to be discontinued. This is a steal at these prices, especially when there's a big gap with older hats. Buy one yellow at 35b? or buy 7 golden hats, i'd go with the golden hats. what's the max you can make on older hats at current prices, they might double one more time. But Exponential gains can be made on g phats overtime. Don't trust me use your brain, look at the older prices of rares over time (

Back when the BSH, Xmas Scythe, Wreath got released players still didn't know much about the "rares" market, as they do now - Also Party-hats and other rares were still cheap back then. Blue was at like 2147b-3b, compared to 120b+ now.
We have learned throughout the years, that rares are the only investments that will 100% guarantee profit no matter what, and most of us understand the rares market now.
Have you EVER seen a real discontinued item crash in price, and keep crashing? The answer is simply no.
However, dips and rises do happen, but I think majority of the players investing in rares do it for the long run.
THEN there's the factor that the Golden Partyhat is a very special rare, it's the RS 20th anniversary rare, which makes it even more special IMO.
Either way, there will be released less Golden Partyhats than normal partyhats back in RSC, and look at the price of the original partyhats now
Telling players to sell it ASAP is just a stupid suggestion because it will never crash to the price you imagine. The best bet is just to keep the partyhat you created as a memory or investment.
