I find it rather funny that people are equating it to junk already. The OG partyhats were junk once. At the end of the day it's still a partyhat. It doesn't matter if there's 50k+ it will have value and rise accordingly over time. I don't think it's out of the question to see some money flow from old rares to snatch up the new shiny item. The best returns are often made in new items. What happens when this hat is an exact replica and people prefer the golden color and see how cheap it is? It's going to be quite a unique color. I always wished the yellow partyhat was gold. Do continue to underestimate this release at your own peril. Think in terms of 5-10 years. If you can't do that, you're NGMI in-game or real life.
It has not been easy for me. I started off in Lumbridge. My father gave me a small loan of a million gold coins.

It will look exactly like the the older partyhats but golden, They are not going to miss this opportunity to boost sales during premier. Rare owners are having a hard time accepting this just as token holders did. But they are just adding new rares not re releasing them which is way better in my opinion. I know a mercher that dumped all his older rares to free up cash to hoard this one lmao.

There is certainly going to be hoarding going on with how cheap and large the supply will be. There is money to be made, especially long term. After 5-10 years, I see the golden partyhat having a decent price.

The first one will go for max cash or more thats for sure.

Selling all your rares to hoard this one. Selling might not be all that bad though hats already did drop a lot from the peak.
But hoarding this one no. You cant hoard from the start because then you will be overpaying. And if you wait with hoarding untill the price has more or less found the sweet spot then you will hardly be the first. It will take a very long time to properly hoard this hat and the supply will be very spread out for a long time. A lot of players who dont hoard will still hold on to their hat waiting for it to rise.

My bet would be 200m at the end of the event as the sweet spot. Thats not an educated guess but a complete gamble.

A lot depends on how it looks,looking exactly the same as the existing hats would be best for this hat i think.
