If you really think that more than half the playerbase in this game would leave just because of something so trivial then you're delusional. holiday items do not make this game what it is. the players do. the community. this game is not built on the foundations of holiday items. i wish more people would understand this. it really isn't the end of the world if jagex decided to bring some old holiday items back that literally have no worth in the game. the fact you make it seem like they do is just ludicrous.

The game would take huge hit if anyone even consider of doing that. You like it or not but that's the fact that you cannot change. Noone would care (probably) about holiday items that have no worth but partyhats are different story for example.

and i never once said anything about bringing back rares so don't put words in my mouth. my whole argument was based off of old holiday rewards that can't be traded. i was merely stating that anyone who thinks that bringing them back would make thousands of people quit, are crazy. it wouldn't nor will it ever matter if it were to happen.

On topic, when we're talking about rares we're thinking of discontinued rare items so not 4 but only 1 this year. We tehnically don't know would those festive items be discontinued but if it's from TH their numbers will be relatively high anyways.
Yes, people would quit. Rubber turkeys were never accepted in community anyways, that is a terrible example and a lot of us were for the idea of revoking that item or just didn't care at all.
We are talking about real, original rares.. not Rubber turkeys and other trash that you've mentioned.

And I just disagree with you, rubber turkeys are a good example. What was accepted or not... who are you to decide? lol now you speak on behalf of the whole community? If so, you should then know that majority is in favor of rerelease/release and majority won't quit over something so ridiculous. Real rares... god, sometimes this people make it a point to be delusional... There is no real rares! lol it is a game. Understand that. It is a virtual hat man. :P

Well i personally never said ppl would quit over this, just that ppl wouldnt be too happy.

So unless jagex doesnt want to make the vet angry over this, then they are best just doing what they're doing atm.

Isn't it funny that when people don't know how to respond to coherent arguments they start to really get in the defensive and say things like "Chill, relax a bit"? lol I do this for fun. And I like debates because they promote critical thinking (unlike the ones I have with you I guess where you say "FaLsE, FaLsE! YoU wroNg! Me RigHt!" but I do apologize. When you say holiday items people or me in this case think of rare holiday items, not the ones that cannot be traded because they are not really relevant for anything. Also, why would this even be in discussion because they are worthless, nobody cares and the fact that they already re-released some in past?
Bunny ears and Scythe are probably the only items that are worth mentioning because of history.
You also said how osrs can re-release it and rs3 can't. They also re-release holiday rare items like partyhats, santas and rest, you were not specific.
