Yes they are bringing back old items, but so far beyond the times they did so for ice ammy and globe, they havent been any physical items all just overrides and whatnot.

look i'm not going to keep arguing with you about this. All i'm saying is, if they bring back old holiday rewards in the future, it's not going to be the end of the world. If old school can do it, i don't see why rs3 can't do it. i've had this discussion with many of my friends who play the game and they all agree it's very silly to get mad over something so small. it's just a game. who cares if they rerelease some old holiday rewards. it doesn't affect the economy nor does it affect anyone's well being. but this is my last two cents on the matter.

Just because one game does something it doesnt mean every game should follow suit,

You see loads of ppl asking for NFTs just because a few games do it yet i never see that happening.

So just because osrs passed a poll asking for this to happen and rs3 had 2 failed polls just proves that ppl feel differently about the items on rs3 than osrs.

Thus if you want something like this, just play osrs.

How do you know this for certain?

Last i checked no jmod has said anything thus far and even if they have we've all seen how much they change their minds.

So since no one can predict the future, no one can say for sure if this will happen or not.

because change happens no matter what. doesn't matter if a small group of players don't like something. if jagex wants to bring back old holiday rewards, then they'll do it. it's not going to kill anyone and if it makes people leave the game well that's just sad imo. leaving a game over something so little is just dumb.

Jagex said something similar just to confirm that and I quote ''yellow partyhat is sacred, we won't touch that'' when they were making Golden one and how to differentiate it ingame from Yellow.
The action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.

I agree with you in that they will/should rerelease all rares but disagree on the well being part. It is sad, but unfortunately true that many player's well being will be affected because all they have known for the past couple of years has been merching these items. Some spend long hours in the day standing in the GE trying to make some virtual currency that means nothing irl.

Sure you can predict the future right? Jagex is a company with a lot of turnover and investors eager to make money. A CEO whose compensation has always revolved around profitability. What is to say he won't rerelease some rares to improve metric by end of year next year like they did with GPH? Man... get out of that cloud. That is how the world operates - around Money - Real one, not the virtual one some of you adore so much.

Play the game.

By the way, this won't be the first time Jagex has reversed their decision. Or don't you remember when they said no more discontinued/rare item was going to be released? Then no tradeable ones? Lmao, after all these you seriously believe they will never rerelease rares?

A game with no rares is really boring IMO

Just look at OSRS, there's nothing special to aim after, once you get all the BiS gear

There's nothing you can wear that's like "WOW" besides third-age items

It's fun to collect rares on RS3, it keeps the game going and fun, because it's a circle, you can never get enough of rares, so your Big goal is to collect every rare (Get gold -> buy rare -> get gold buy rare...)

On OSRS your money would just sit once you have all the BiS gear, and you will feel like you completed the game pretty early, which is kinda sad

Love how ppl are conveniently forgetting this little tid-bit.

Jagex can and will rerelease whatever they want whenever they want.

Its their game.
