i disagree that items should not get re-released its fun to get one i like the fact that they released the golden party hat i never heard of the game back when they dropped party hats and up till these few events the chances of me ever abtaining one was never within my grasp,

the golden party hat and the green santa hat might give me the chance to some day get a different rare that i might not have gone after when given the original chance or was before my time

up till now having a max gold stack was out side the realm of possabilitys but not now...my wealth has increased dramaticly over the last 3 months,, some thing i was working on for over 13 years, i play legit i play alone i dont interect with people often,,just to try to get over 1 bill yet here i am worth over 7 bill now ,, yeah not as rich as some of you 100 bill or more people but its a chance to get there isnt it?

most of the extreme rares will never be in circulation and if one does come up they are only traded to other people who was there at the time of the event, and really does nothing for them other then to say hey look at me,,

i think jagex has given the game a boost to the rare game they did not reset the board they just added a oppertunity for others to join the ranks of the elite group

Owner of the thread or not they don't have my blessing. I have multiple accounts with bunny ears and the scythe. You don't speak for the whole bunny ear community.

When these items first released I was bummed that they were untradeable, but now it's kind of cool having items that most people can not obtain. There are several untradeable items that I don't have on this account (Santa suit, skeleton suit), but I'm not complaining about not having those.

For everyone that wants every rare they should go play OSRS so they can get them. Combat, a few skills, and rares are what really separates the 2 games otherwise what's the point?

If you really think that you probably have not given too much thought into the differences between the two games. What about graphics? like in 2022 we are supposed to love 2007 Graphics? You mention combat as a footnote when in fact it is extremely important (and vastly different from OSRS).

A few skills? Do you take into account that the 3 combat styles are completely a different experience in RS3? Then add the rest of unique skills (including mining and smithing) and you have 1/3 of the skills completely different from one game to the next. These are only to name a few. I bet if someone put some effort into differences, they will encounter many more (but that is not the topic of this discussion now, is it?)

Amazing to see how many selfish players we have. Probably were not taught to share when growing up. Jagex should rerelease everything! And looking at the success of the GSH, they probably will!

I'm on mobile and couldn't bother typing out every difference. I didn't think I'd have to actually list everything. Combat means the whole combat system. Sorry for not spelling that out for you.

Gsh is a poor decision to re-release. If jagex is smart enough they won't re-release it. It would just show people to not bother buying keys when they'll have more opportunities to get said "rare" item in the future, but if you truly make it discontinued and you say that, then people will dump loads of money on keys. More people would drop money on an item that will guarantee to make them rich in game. It's that simple.

And yes rares are a big difference between osrs and rs3.

The action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.
