I support this idea. I've always enjoyed thinking about my RuneScape character traveling across some tundra with a blizzard raging, all alone, or out in the wilderness in some dense forest. Additionally, I've seen the lighting effects in Draynor which are simply amazing (the torches in the bank, the obelisk, the lamps on the Wizard Tower Bridge, etc.) I would love to see such effects be implemented. I personally would not mind the world seeming emptier, as it would add a decent atmosphere to adventuring. This would also make being with other players seem much more exciting, and finding a person be more rare and more mysterious. I am personally all for the removal of the lodestone system, as I prefer the idea of the spellbook teleports. Mounts are a good idea, but they should not be added into Solomon's. Mounts could be either a new skill or an addition to Summoning, making reusable mount pouches a thing, but they would have to be recharged through charms/spirit shards, like chaotic weaponry, but with not money. I would also like to see day/night and even weather effects added. Day/night could scale to your timezone and be purely cosmetic, while weather could be added to places like Rellekka, as snow. Rain could also randomly appear. The removal of the lodestone system would also make other transportation methods actually used, like canoes and charter ships. As for mountains, someone with high enough agility could probably have the ability to climb mountains, these could even be agility courses, or you could dig out ancient collapsed tunnels and even find small caves with a high enough mining level. Players without these requirements could pay a dwarf to guide them over the mountain. There could also be traveling merchants in caravans and such. We could even have some small bosses that roam, something like an escaped zoo animal in Ardougne or an escaped werewolf in Misthalin/Asgarnia, like in the books. That is all I have to say, I really hope this update comes soon.
