** Alternatively they might be rebalanced over a longer streak of levels - since you basically suggest unlocking a new one every two levels they never could stay too useful. A concrete number could be starting at 70 and unlocking a new one every six levels (so 70, 76, 82, 88, 94, 100, 106, 112, 118). This would require altering the stats of the iron/steel ones slightly though I guess.
Yes, I agree with this.

* Metal titans will increase the progress generated by 1-5 (suggested 9 as a maximum initially, but I guess that might be a tad bit too much) per swing depending on their tier.
I just think it would be better using them instead of introducing something entirely new. Also it would cover the smithing niche with a concrete suggestion.
Could do, but maybe its just my own bias, I much prefer streamlining things, I wouldn't like having certain metal titan help with skilling and then others with combat. But if all were to be helpful with smithing, we'd have way too many tiers of metal titans. While I'd like to support this idea, I'm still not too sure about it yet.

Likewise the fire titan could get an additional effect reducing your heat drain per swing (or automatically re-heating your in-progress object passively). That would basically cover everything, which would be relevant for smithing in some way - firemaking for more relaxed smithing, metal ones rewarding activity.
Again, probably my own bias, but I wouldn't like having 1 out of other elemental titans be for skilling. Maybe a higher tier obsidian charm familiar? Or new ones dropped from TokHaar? Obtained after fight is over of course, can't have those clog up your inventory during the encounter.

I read through them all and still stand with no 120 summon And yes I'm trim comp so it would affect me, and before you start (you want the cape do the work) the whole point is if they dont change it I wont have to bother.
People like you hinder progress, you don't want a potentially great update because of your selfish desire of wanting to maintain a cape whose entire purpose is to complete the game. Why bother going for a cape that you knew from the beginning would require upkeep if you are too lazy to maintain it

I really just threw those ideas out..
Let some deep-thinker's tinker, while not blasting them with a wall of text.
I see, I've been quite busy irl lately, so I'll leave it to someone else to come up with a more concrete structure before I add it to the list.

I don't think that should be too much of an issue, since there are a lot of skilling familiars which could also be used for fighting (and possibly even would if their stats weren't stuck up with some pre-eoc values). See the dreadfowl - it boosts farming, but has a combat related special attack.
A better modern example would be the light creature, which also could be used for a multitude of functionality: Agility training in prif, xp focused divination (not sure how good it is since the halls of memories though) and boosts for tears of guthix.
As for the titans - the metal titans all would be coved with that effect, while the elemental ones would need other functionality still. Maybe make the moss giant a higher levelled woodcutting one (since there is nothing but the beaver either right now) and the ice (or gale as you suggested)... hmm what could be related to ice/air? Maybe something entirely different: Protection against heat (akin to wearing ice gloves + partial dragonfire one + desert heat for players not having completed crocodile tears)?

OP seems to have pretty good ideas already.

Yes he does.
I was concerned that others would convolute the OP's ideal without adding structure, input & even vague (enter random blank) to the pool.
