You raise valid concerns about combat imo. However with the new slayer monsters and bosses that would be created, I think we would need the higher combat.

I read an interesting suggestion somewhere at some point that I can't seem to find now that suggested 120 skills come with the new continent, and be restricted to it. That way, when you're in the current continent, all skills are still limited to 99 and you can't do/use anything above that, keeping things non-OP for the current continent. In contrast, the new continent would have new stuff that makes 120 stats and items non-OP, much harder bosses, etc.

It was a pretty great suggestion.

Very interesting suggestion imo. I need to think on it some before commenting on it further.

Slayer to 120 but thats it, only as a way to release high lv content like t99 armor and specialized weapons like some crazy strong warhammers, spears and bows ect

*And I say Specialized as in The strongest in what they do but not strongest in the game* The PERFECT example of this would be the Balmung (for the love of the gods change it back to the viking axe graphics) lol

I don't see the necessity of bringing the skill cap up on existing skills, aside from potentially the main combat skills and slayer (but even then, that'd require a huge update in terms of new monsters and reasons for people to actually push for this accomplishment). However, and I'm not really sure how likely this is, to have a new skill with the level cap being 120 would be cool. Something entirely different from Dung, but yeah. I doubt that the skill cap will go up on existing skills. lol hi
