Zaros would lie to anyone, as he did in the past. You were one of the most vocal players on the forums talking about Zaros and how he abandoned his followers, even Azzanadra. Also, Xau-Tak is too much of a mystery to talk about him in this context, simply because there are too many theories regarding him and his relation with Erebus. Returning means he originates from our universe, thing we cant confirm yet. Also, we dont know if he has protection or not against shadow anima.

Whether Zaros lied or not doesn't mean there is somebody returning from Erebus to tell anything. There is simply no lore whatsoever. Besides, the most obvious thing is we still have yet to see Xau-Tak in Gielinor although he should be completely protected from shadow anima.

No precise evidence yet but most players believe the Shadow is Xau-Tak. At least users on this threads have been thinking that way since page 1.

If you don't think it is Xau-Tak then let's just say it is the Shadow or whoever you think in Erebus doing all this. There is obviously somebody from the other side of theCodex gets protection from shadow anima. At least Professor Tony is able to try to contact the temp guildmaster from there.

Then dont speak of theories as truths. Also, Erebus could simply be a plane where shadow beasts reside, not an organized dimension with someone ruling over it. Tony could have very well been lucky enough to land in a zone of the Erebus where isnt too much shadow anima, hence he wasnt killed already. Or perhaps he found an artifact in Sentisten that provided him protection.

Nobody said anything about "truths" in this thread in the FUTURE Game Updates forums which is meant for discussion of SUSPECTED Jagex FUTURE updates. I am pretty sure OP is aware of it and hence he created this thread in this forum.

The fact Tony could live to contact the Archaeology Guild speaks the truth that one can be protected and remain sane to communicate with Gielinor in Erebus.

The fact remains there is no lore about anybody returning to Gielinor from Erebus.

Good, im glad you understand your earlier comment is misleading since theres no such probed thing as ''obviously somebody from the other side of theCodex gets protection from shadow anima''. We dont know why Tony is well, maybe hes corrupted already and try to manipulate us or perhaps Erebus is not just full of shadow anima.

We do know Professor Tony is still alive, and able to communicate with his temp guildmaster from Erebus. He is definitely protected.

We also see shadow creatures coming out of the Monolith alive. Of course, something protected them from shadow anima. Pure fact there.

Raksha is also protected from shadow anima obviously. In fact, he absorb them to gain his powers.

Wrong as ever, we do not know if those creatures from Erebus originate from our plane or if they were created in Erebus. If they originate from Erebus they dont need protection as they are made of shadow anima already. Raksha absorbed shadow anima and he might not be fully protected, should he enter Erebus. And his in Gielinor anyway.

If shadow creatures are created of anima, Saradomin, Nex and Char wouldn't be able to even fight them. Even Zaros has to leave Raksha alone and have the World Guardian fight it.

Shadow anima is said to be toxic even to Elder Gods. That's the fact.
