Tbh the dev team isn't creative enough to add more quests. They lost alot of jmods over the years.
They also hired a lot more recently. However, they only allocate one team to do quests. So Jagex is apparently working on one quest at a time, not 5 quests as OP of the post I quoted from 5 years ago. And it explains the considerably lower number of quests per year.
What it means is... looking forward, don't expect more quests unless they allocate more teams to do quests.. but this is just robbing Peter to pay Paul. If some developers are taken away from other teams to work on quests, it only means there will be inferior quality from other areas, perhaps M&S rework, Group Ironman and such. This is not likely going to happen anyway because quests are hardly reusable and therefore don't bring as big a return as investments on content like M&S rework.

You're only saying that because you don't like quests obviously. I now understand why you have been so negative to the idea of new quests since I revived this thread. If the decline was in something you really liked in the game, you'd moan to. Well maybe if you could manage to say a bad word against Jagex.
It's not about reusable content all the time. Once you finish a console game, the content isn't reusable (unless you play the game again) but you don't hear people moaning about the fact that it wasn't "reusable". Quests are REAL content. Content that doesn't need to be played over and over. If you played a console game's story over and over, it would become boring, that's why all content doesn't need to be reusable in a game.

I love quests if you still can't see from how much I know the developments of all these quests all these 18 years of RS3. Sorry to disappoint you but I don't "moan" on any game content at all. If quests come, I do quests. Otherwise, PoF is good

If you love quests so much, then why are you so bitter towards everyone who wants more quests to be added? Don't get me wrong but you don't seem to appreciate anyone else's opinions except your own. I understand that you don't moan about game content but you shouldn't keep shooting players down just because they want to raise their concerns about something that they're paying for.
A ramification of attacking players' opinions constantly is that we all think you're in Jagex's back pocket, cushioning their fall when something bad is said about them.

Who said I am bitter? I am "shooting" nobody down. I just use factual materials with logical reasoning to predict future trend. This is what this forum is for.
And from Jmods comments, it is not hard to conclude when Jagex had teams working on 5 different quests at a time in 2014 but still could not release 14 of them then it is only logical not to expect too many quests a year from just 1 team working on 1 quest at at time.
Whether they release 9000 quests or just 3 to 4 a year don't bother me at all. And for one thing, given such facts and logical reasoning if I am still expecting >10 quests a year, I am certainly in self-denial and I refuse to do that.

Just to clarify, I mean no offence by this statement but the way you come across makes you sound like a know-it-all and that you're not willing to accept and appreciate other people's opinions. You may not think you are "shooting" players down but unfortunately, indirectly, that is what you seem to be doing.
I am quite a logical person myself and yes, I understand that if one team is working on one quest at a time, then not a lot of quests are going to come out! However, that's what the point of this forum thread is about, to try and reach out to Jagex and broadcast our unhappiness about the way the game is going from a quest point of view... Surely, you can understand that the logic behind doing that?

I did not reach out to Jagex and broadcast whatever. I only post in this forum regarding this "new quests" thread and I have no interest even to talk about other users or myself here. Really enough said on that.
I don't care if you are happy or unhappy at all. It won't stop me to provide facts and give my predictions using the most logical reasoning.

It is a shame that even after I attempt to reach out to you to try and find some common ground and let you know what I and other players are feeling, that you come back with an extremely rude and disrespectful statement.
I don't believe we have anything left to discuss here. I for one, want to actually get back onto discussing the topic of the "Lack of New Quests" at hand. I see no benefit in us speaking anymore. I'm here to talk about the fact that we haven't had more than 2 quests this year and how that is a problem. You've expressed that you don't agree with what any of us are saying so there's not a point in continuing to post. We understand that you disagree.
