For me, Mod Warden's statements continue to give me hope but are stained by the mistakes of the past.
With that said, I'm shocked at getting a quest this month. I was shooting for August for the next one and now I gotta rush and try to get as many 5th Age quests done... ^.^"

EDIT: As ever, quest HYPE.
I need it nowwww.

Remember, most of the "unfinished" storylines can finish in just one or two quests... just like water from thousands of rivers all flow into the same ocean. ;)

So, what does everyone think? I understand if you're disappointed about the 2020 quest releases (I am too!), but I do think Mod Warden portrays a lot of confidence in his monthly release cadence plan and I'm willing to give it a whirl and keep optimistic about it :) .

I am not that disappointed now as we know RS3 will be getting at least 2 quests before the end of the just 7th month of year 2020, while some other MMORPGs are drastically nerking their lore based content and quests into oblivion.

This quest seems to be very exciting and apparently it will reveal the secrets of a prehistoric godwar and some Elder Artefacts. I know plenty of players not sold into skilling and not much fans of quests are diligently digging up their Archaeology levels as well as visiting Seren's Council in the Burthope Castle now to clear the Desperate Times quest requirement.

A lot of commenters in this thread love quests, right? A reminder then, we need to finish Desperate Times to enjoy the upcoming epic quest Desperate Measures... :)

There's plenty of quests already in my opinion. If you start fresh on a new account, it can be almost overwhelming with the amount of quests that are available on a fresh account.

Questing is only a fraction of the content in RS3, in fact, some people do only the bare minimum quests of required since a lot of players view questing as a hassle. Because of this feedback, the devs might be choosing to allocate resources to areas that are more popular (i.e. PvM, Skilling).

There will always be new quests in RS3. It is just a matter of how many and how big they will be. MMORPGs must have lore. It is not likely to see 8 hours long quests now but a few shorter quests of 15-60 minutes long each year are still quite doable.

They can also present quests in more creative forms like Mysteries with Archaeology and Fremmenik Sagas with Dungeoneering. We can't rule out they have many similar but better ideas to release quests.

Getting real tired of these SJW "Needle" quests.

As someone who has quit because of the games poor management including the lack of quests, can I ask what is SJW about the new quests?

I want to know what SJW or "Needle" quests are too, although I know they aren't the acclaimed City of Senntisten and Azzanadra's Quests that numerous of RS3 players have been enjoying recently.

Actually it is about time for a "Needle" quest. Remember Guthix hinted on the Great Revision, Shadow Breach and Broken "Needle"? The Elder Gods has waken up and their eggs hatching and here is the beginning of the Great Revision. Zaros also mentioned the Shadow Breach with regard to the Codex and somewhere else in Freneskae. The next revelation should logically come from the "Needle". ;)

BTW, Once Upon A Time - Fortunes released today, to keep us up to speed with the Sixth Age already. Next up is quest to the Future. :)
