Not sure I would expect the Woodcutter's Grotto to be a "minigame". Granted, since we dont' have any info from the devs, anything would throw out is pure speculation anyways.
Probably fills the role of the Woodcutting Guild concept a few people have wanted for ages.
I wouldn't be stunned if it had some Oak, Teak, and Mahog Trees in it, or at least something along those lines (Teak and Mahog Trees that borrow from the Elder Tree mechanics?)
I also wouldn't be stunned if it had access to the Evil Tree D&D (or at least
should
for Level 80) with a portal.
Probably a daily too.
But if they make it a minigame, it'd pretty much just replace Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup.
WC themed minigames don't have to be just chopping trees the ancient way. We have herblore and firemaking minigame in Herby Werby but we don't have to make a potion or light a fire there.

Ok. So no minigame updates from the community hit list/ninja thing.
It means the kind of "minigames" in your mind (old school ones like BA, Castle Wars) aren't high on the COMMUNITY's mind (meaning everybody who voiced out in the survey) as I mentioned. On the other hand, new school minigames such as Wildy Flash Events obviously are getting plenty of attention and upates. The COMMUNITY has spoken and RS3 has listened.
Your hopes aren't totally lost perhaps though, as this is just the first batch of ninja updates on the Hitlist. Minigames update may still come in the future batches, amid low community demand.
