The hours required seem pretty brutal.
162,000 hero points to get level 120.
240 hero points earned per hour = 675 hours to get max hero track level without missions.
91 dailies in the event = 91x3x125 = 34,125 earnable
13 weeks in the event = 13x1250 = 16,250 earnable
13 general missions = 13x2000 = 26,000 earnable
special missions = 20,000 earnable
65,625 hero points still required to grind with the 240/hr assuming all tasks are done which still works out to 273 hours to reach 120. Or you can buy levels.
Also, gg to everyone who can't complete the first weekly in 1 day 12 hours. +5 hours to the previously mentioned 273 hours make up for the missed 1250 points. It's also awesome that the first weekly mission is earn 2500 hero points which requires over 10 hours of game play in the 36-hour period they gave us for the week.
Buffs seem cool and the 100% speed boost on the dailies isn't too game breaking. Maybe saves 20 minutes a day if you're really set on saving time vs doing what you want. Yak track skips and daily challenge skip tokens didn't transfer correctly (or there were undisclosed caps) but I guess anything is better than nothing. Not like you can spend 100s of skip tokens when there was only a weeks' notice or two.
Never really cared about the specific rewards so it's all the same. Not a fan of how they broke the bonus xp rates up into 4 different categories, that it only reaches 15% now instead of 20%, or that artisan's 15% is tied to reaching 120. Still better than nothing.
5/5 stars. Only recommendations would be to get rid of the expirations on daily and weekly missions kind of like how general missions will pile up without expiration. This would make it so more people can at least reach 99 in around 100 hours of game play. I'd recommend rebalancing the hero points too, but I think it's clear they only want a small percentage of players to reach 120. Emphasis on the reward for playing more... either pay your way through it or play 3 hours/day.
