"The Daily Challenge system will be reinstated in full.

We are working on this urgently and may take a couple of weeks to go live.
Daily challenges will return as a standalone system with its prior rewards. This means players can resume daily challenges without engaging with Hero Pass should they wish."

"Hero Point text popups can now be toggled by going to Settings, Notifications, Content Updates and selecting the "Hero Points" option.

Content Buffs have now been disabled within the Hero Pass.

Daily Missions now award 3 Treasure Hunter Keys and 3 Large Prismatic Lamps, while we work on restoring Daily Challenge functionality as outlined in Friday's Hero Pass Player Feedback Update #2"

Today's Hero Pass update should have addressed many of the comments in this thread, particularly about content buff, and TH keys.

There is no content buff to pay for and we are actually getting the 3 Daily TH keys back now, earlier than mentioned in last Friday's blog.

FYI, in case if you don't know, you can just login for a few seconds, and complete just the first tier of the Daily Mission and get 3 TH keys and 3 Large Prismatic Lamps. You can choose to do just about anything giving xp, like chopping a tree, string a bow, kill mobs etc.

I don't know what all has already been mentioned here so I'll just lay out my thoughts as they are.

1) Ty for removing the buyable stuff for real money. Those were NOT welcome in the first place. Keep it more in line with the yak track's of old.

2) Why did you remove the earnable buffs? I saw these as incentives to move forward on the Hero Pass as lil niceties you could gain on the way. I personally enjoyed the Headhunter buff as it gives a preview of what its like to own a 120 slayer cape since that's what its ability does. Gives kind of a push to want to train for the item in game.

3) I am very happy to see Daily Tasks returning. While I didn't do them often, it was nice to see when I happened to complete a task while I was playing naturally.

I don't have a problem with the content buffs either, but we still get incentives from leveling Hero Pass. We still get xp buffs as well ss the new items replacing charges that were used on content buffs.

As for why they removed the content buffs, obviously more players asked for them to be removed. However, I get the feeling these content buffs still make good rewards in future events that don't require a Hero Pass.

Perhaps. I just felt it was a neat addition for working your way through the pass. Kind of to make your time in Gielinor a slight bit easier for a little bit, even if some of them didn't seem overly substantial, it was a nicety overall.

At this point I don't trust them one bit, I'll believe it when I see it. I've rarely griped about an update but this one has me sooooooo close to quitting a game I've played near daily for 21 years.

This stacked with the new launcher that has caused me huge amounts of grief....it's just too much.

Necro was an awesome update, then they blow it out of the water with this gold digging move.

Reminds me of a ponzie scheme, gather as much money as you can before everyone finds they got screwed then run with the cash and watch the house crumble.

Again, we are currently getting all 3 TH keys and Large Primsatic Lamps just by completing T1 of a Daily Mission, which takes only seconds to complete by doing pretty much everything that gives us xp. This is far better than doing Daily Challenges already. So even if (a big *IF*) old Daily Challenges don't come back, we are only getting better rewarded with the current Daily MIssion set up.

Almost all issues with the new launcher come from OSRS 3PC. "Necro" Has nothing to do with Hero Pass. Your such concerns have nothing to do with my comment that you replied to at all Perhaps if you address them in threads pertaining to these topics, I will gladly address them in the corresponding existing threads.

All good, but wheres my port crate, soul refreh, all the stuff you cant buy?

and as far as the new launcher, Ive had the same PW for 10 years, yet when i go to reset, i never get an email. I went thru 6 months tryin to get a friends back. ruthless, do you remember your service proider 23 years ago? nobody does...they changed all of my passwords with the new system, thinkin it would be a single login. so I bought in, now both my charachters are screud. I tried to reset on main........months, still no email, yet they tell me my gains every month with he same email.

if youve ever had to recover an account....id say good freakin luck, say bye, if ya aint...cherish it
