Ironmen get Oddments. If you have enough Oddments to buy out everything in the Oddments Store, perhaps you can suggest new cosmetics there.

For the majority of players, we already have alternative rewards other than cosmetics. We have Hero Satchels we can buy with emblems, and we have xp and content buffs we can spend charges for. On reaching specific Hero Levels, there are also non-cosmetic rewards like xp and hero satchels.
I have no interest in cosmetics. On my HCIM, It takes a fair amount of effort to complete these daily tasks. It would be nice to get some exp lamps. Frankly, the previous daily tasks were too easy for the exp rewards for ironmen, but I got used to them. Now they are gone. I don't think ironmen even get the buffs. I'm struggling to see any reason to do these hero tasks on my HCIM. Am I missing something?

Yak Tracks were about cosmetics to IM. If you have no interest in cosmetics you shouldn't have interests in Yak Tracks. No difference in Hero Pass and Yak Tracks to you then. Just consider it neutral if you have no interest in cosmetics. You just do whatever you like to do and you will automatically collect Hero Points just like Yak Tracks.

john-punkguy I agree with him should be able to turn off skills that you already maxed and do not wish to do. Im maxed all but necro was working on ending the game except maybe some pvm and working on collection logs. But having to go back to retrain stuff that is boring sucks. Takes away from enjoy what I want to enjoy.

They didn't add another currency. Yak Coins are just being replaced with Hero Points.

TH is still the same TH as Yak Tracks and Hero Pass don't change the content and fun of TH at all.

They should have started Hero Pass after the Tuesday weekly reset rather. We actually 36 hours to complete the last Weekly Mission. I knew many players did but I didn't bother when I looked at the reward and it said 1,250 Hero Points only. I will just get 10 more Hero Points a day for the remainder 3 months.

For the next Hero Pass, I think they should start it after the Tuesday reset.

I am also chilled with no FOMO feeling in Hero Pass now. Even Weekly Missions reward only 1.25k Hero Points. There is nothing much fear to lose even if I don't do a Daily Mission, or 2, or all 7 of them, as I can have 3 months to make them up comfortably.

Maybe they can add a couple more General Missions, or more Special Missions but with less Hero Points each. The other rewards are fine, especially when there are 95 cosmetics. I don't more more animations overrides though.

The largest Rs3 youtuber has already calculated the amount of time Hero Pass takes.

190 Hours of Doing Bossing + Every possible task
350 Hours of Skill / Kill + Every possible task
500 Hours of Skill/ Kill + None

And that just to get 120.. it gives roughly 3000 / 5000 points needed for the only good looking cosmetic in the Hero Store.

I like to point out Yak Track was 100 hours more or less and manageable to do without Mtx but Hero Pass is disgusting.

Please read what I wrote and you quoted again. I was commenting on FOMO, not how many points to reach level 120. Lets examine that statement. You speak of willingly about giving up tasks but the calculation clearly show the opposite from 350 to 500 hours for skipping them i thought the idea was Jagex wanted to stop daily scape? Right now you lose 150 hours if you don't grind every single task.

I Quoted 350-500 hours few pages back and i can see that possibly referring to me as one of the group of players which is wrong as i stated the correct hours.


Yak Track - 70 100 Hours / 60 Days 1.6 Hours per day
Hero Pass - 120 350 hours / 91 days = 3.8 Hours per day

The rubbish cosmetics you spoke about doesn't justify playing x2 longer to earn them and Jagex should cut the time down to a moderate 2 hours per day.

The Boss / PvM times are expectation as only certain % of player base actually engages in that content and not many will do that solely for 120
