Ye it did watched up to the bit where he said he's really good at being positive & he don't moan about MTX. So just thanks for putting.me through that few minutes I'll never get back.
Excellent
6 weeks
Bet y'all are ecstatic you got them.premier memberships for that.
You can get 200m necromancy on one bonds membership and take the rest of the year off uno.
Cheaper.
I didn't know that the purpose of this thread was to "look good" necessarily. It brings me no joy to challenge Jagex to be better and continue to apply pressure where I believe it is needed.
That being said - we won't learn anything for about six weeks anyway, and all that will happen with this thread in the meantime is me going over how legitimate I felt the survey was when it comes to Jagex truly being open for communication.
the phrase
"to ask about the various aspects of the current design"
is a terrible start. I'm not interested enough in Hero Pass to care what it looks like, how it's balanced, whether or not it rewards certain types of things, whether or not its monetized, etc.
It is something that doesn't need to be in the game for me to engage with it, I have no desire to spend money on it, and I don't want it providing buffs to content that players would otherwise need to progress or hone their skills to achieve.
At best - it's something that doesn't induce the fear of missing out (and as a fan of cosmetics sometimes, it's going to fail at this from the onset), it's something that just happens in the background, and there isn't an advantage for players who give Jagex more money. Even then, It's just there, and I'm mostly ignoring the feature, and while I will be providing feedback, it will be a colossal waste of my time to fill out.
If my thread ends up looking "bad" at the end of this circle-jerk, so be it. Can't look any worse than the product they need players to fix for them in this case.

I'll take Maikeru's actual words and actions at face value. Clearly, the guy is burned on the game and is bummed out by Jagex's practices (which includes launching and doubling down on Hero Pass) as of late as well as the fact that Necromancy has become a significantly noticeable meta for combat for the time being, resulting in him experiencing what a lot of players are right now - a significantly less fun game.

RS3 has already told us the plan. They didn't need anybody to challenge them. You just kept pretending Jagex made no changes. You just kept bringing up old posts from 2 weeks ago and ignore the ones that really matter since 6 days ago.
"I'll take Maikeru's actual words and actions at face value."
FYI, his friends and family are still happily playing RS3 and streaming it. That's a great testimony how much players love RS3. Even you pretend not to see them, everybody in RS3 can.

Are there any decent rs3 content creators?
The RS3 team have created some decent quests. But the rest of the stuff is way too easy. OSRS has the best content creators. To honest.
The contrary is true. RS3 quests are great and entertaining, and they are easy, but intentionally to be easy with easy mode out like DTD.
PvM content in RS3 is actually the hardest part with most content creators spending their time on bossing.
You don't see this perhaps because RS3 content creators are for most parts a bunch of small variety streamers who play multiple games. The sample of RS3 content creators are too small to show anything. TheRSGuy has explained the reason is Jagex isn't paying RS3 content creators.
