"1. Disrespectful in tone. Please don't talk down to me about something you know nothing about it. If they aren't your words, don't claim to know their intent better than anyone else (myself and others have had to tell you this often)."

Disrespectful in tone. Please don't talk down to me about something you know nothing about it. We can't buy skips and we don't have Content Buffs in Hero Pass. Everybody can just log in and see with their own eyes.

"2. Bait. It's pretty well known that Jagex could go so far as hypothetically kidnap one of your loved ones, and rather than object to them doing so, you would find some way to argue with other posters about how Jagex is actually doing the right thing by doing so. You're so deep in their pocket that having discourse with you about the game, even when it comes to truly harmful pain-points you would expect a fellow consumer to relate with, is simply not possible. It's one thing to defend the game and it's developers when the controversy is more down the middle. It's another to put yourself on an island and as a result, waste other people's time."

More disrespectful in tone and bait from you. Jagex clearly told us they are going start the Community Consultation process. We, players who are not disinterest in RS3 and are playing it are all invited to give our feedbacks.

"3. Ignorant of context. I'm not an ironman - but given how you responded, you didn't know that, and I would bet money it was because you cherrypicked a portion of my response and decided to rail me over it. That's -hardly- the only example from you."

Ignorant of context. You are not an ironman and you try to command about IM. And you totally pulled something out of we don't know where disingenuously when you made up something like this and pretended it was Jagex:

"We already know it's possible a majority of players don't want Hero Pass at all."

Where are they then? We players who are not disinterested in rs3 and are playing it?

Do you play RS3? It is easy to see them, you just log in.

The entire point is that this shouldn't be something where Jagex is looking at Hero Pass as an objective win of an update when it was received the way it was, nor should they be trying to use "community consultation" as an indirect form of pushing Hero Pass past the goalposts when such consultation should be used in updates that are much more interesting to the players they are asking for consultation from.

If Jagex absolutely needs to have Hero Pass, we're at the point where the players deserve to hear from the company directly about why Hero Pass must stay. There is a sizable amount of players who are not going to care enough to provide positive feedback and constructive criticism so long as Jagex is, without justification or explanation, shooting down other valid opinions (i.e. Get rid of Hero Pass.)

Jagex cannot expect players to act in good faith on this process if they don't humble themselves and step out from behind the curtain to explain their position.

And frankly, so long as they continue to display cowardice on this matter, I would encourage players to remain hardliners when it comes to updates like this - which means the game suffers from more negative reviews, more outside gaming community sources bashing the game and encouraging players to leave, and ultimately more players leaving the game.

As a maxed player with a quest cape and tangible long term goals still to achieve in the game, those are the last things I want. But they must stop insulting their players' intelligence and have the uncomfortable conversations head on and earlier than they have to this point.

I'm tired of "we hear you loud and clear" followed by "we're going to collect more data" or "we're going to survey you on prompted questions rather than poll you" or "please wait for us to change x, y, and z."

I want them to start saying more things like "We messed up" and then make the hard decision to fix it.

So Dilbert, when I come at you like I did, I wasn't being disrespectful, nor was I trying to bait you. (I especially wasn't being ignorant of context, so I don't know how you thought you could stylistically flip that back on me.)

I'm not in the mood to have a player consistently fight Jagex's battles for them. The last thing I need is a player cheerleading the company so hard that they only thing they can do is rudely object to any dissenting opinion they find on the forums. Especially when it comes to pocketbook matters and matters that are legal quandaries in other countries and matters that are concerned with mental health when the company claims to be for advancing it on certain weeks of the year.

If your idea of making RS3 better is getting rid of every player who objects to Jagex's decisions, now is your opportunity to say so.

My idea of making RS3 better is getting rid of harmful MTX practices and holding Jagex accountable on areas where they should be able to communicate on the level and not inundate players with drivel.

Yes dilbert I logged in couple of weeks ago and only person I knew online was kt bear1 who is a pmod who used to be in my clan but I couldn't talk to him due to the awful chat on mobile, but last time I spoke to him he was terribly upset about the strange rock update and has always told me to give jagex hell.

So clearly he doesn't agree with you.

So where are they? The people who agree with you?
Because people who agree with me are banned from runescape for doing so.....
So when you're telling people not to speak for iron men cos they're not one, who do you speak for? Not players.

Evidently you were being not only disrespectful to Jagex (I am not even talking about to me), but also disingenuous. They clearly have removed buy skips and content buff while you continued to pretend them still exist and keep complaining and complaining. You also deliberately put up something not from Jagex and pretend it is a quote from Jagex that they don't poll community consultation because it would get the votes.

Now onto community consultation, that's our chance (all of players who aren't disinterested in RS3 and play it). Which part don't you understand. We are all given our chances to voice oour opinion in the upcoming community consultation.

So only players you know are RS3 players???? Very good joke!!!! :D

Nobody can deny as long as we play RS3, we earn Hero Point and automatically participate in Hero Pass. Ask your pmod friend to check their Hero Pass interface to hit the CLAIM button for rewards.
