I never had a problem with removing the Daily Challenge System, nor did I endorse it. I mentioned all along I was waiting for what Jagex told us about the new Hero Pass system then, and now they did.

I am in these RSOF for discussion of Recent Game Updates of RS3 and share my own opinions on the issues , not to have anything to do with other RSOF users, compromise or not.

Depends on how you spin it.

I would argue that the rewards from just the Daily challenges are better than the rewards from the Hero pass because the Hero pass doesn't offer me anything that I personally like. The key word here is "
personally
"

Yak track was no better in terms of what cosmetics it offered either because it didn't appeal to me. Time to follow an trail of Treasure.

Rewards from the new systems following yesterday's blog = A + B
Rewards from pre-Hero Pass update Monday = A

A + B > A

Or if you really, really have to spin it and say B = 0 and you don't claim B so you won't even unlock a cosmetic, animation or title or xp lamps, there is still no ways Rewards from the new systems following yesterday's blog is worse than what rewards we had before the pre-Hero Pass update.

I never said it was worse than the daily challenge, I just said I preferred on a personal level that the daily challenge rewards are better.

Is it really that hard to accept that people don't have to agree with what you say? I don't need you to break down anything for me because I already stated it was a personal preference. Time to follow an trail of Treasure.

Are we not getting the original Daily Challenges and rewards back? Jagex officially told us yes, so it is nothing "personal", we will get the original Daily Challenges and all rewards PLUS all rewards from the New Hero Pass.

Jagex admitted that they "messed up" they literally said it in a blog post. They even apologized.
I just don't get why you can't even acknowledge something that they themselves acknowledged...

Like I said, unless of course you had some contract preventing you from making negative statements, but that would be silly right.

Anyway, lets discuss the daily challenges some more:

You keep using cosmetics as the replacement for daily challenges, as being the reason for it not being objectively worse now.

However we were already getting cosmetics from Yak-Track , on top of the Daily Challenges.

So what exactly did Hero pass provide us now except for to take away the rewards from Daily Challenges, and provide us cosmetics that we might find in an existing Yak Track?

My argument still stands that the hero pass WAS objectively worse.

It will be better AFTER they reinstate the Daily challenges, but not before. You could also say it would be worse since we probably won't get our challenge tokens back.
and we have to wait WEEKS to have daily challenges reinstated.

I don't work for Jagex and don't care about what they said other than the what rewards we are getting in Hero Pass and Daily Challenges. If you have questions about anything other than the discussions of the rewards of Hero Pass and Daily Challenge, you asked the wrong person.

I don't know if you had some contract preventing you from discussion of rewards of Hero Pass and Daily Challenges instead of negative comments about Jagex, but that would be silly right?

Please read my posts after the Jagex's latest blog yesterday. We are way past the point whether you consider cosmetics good rewards compared to Daily Challenges as we are going to get all Daily Challengers rewards back soon, plus we still get the cosmetics from Hero Pass.

The past:
Free Cosmatics from Yak track + Dailly Challenges

Initial Hero Pass:
Free Cosmetics from Hero Pass + Daily missions that give less reward than daily challenges


So initially Hero pass was worse, not better. Now that jagex has promised to bring back daily challenges, WHICH THEY HAVENT DONE YET. it would be better, but it isn't reinstated yet.

We are getting even more ""FREE"" cosmetics from Hero Pass than Yak Track, now and originally and the future until further notice. We have to play Yak Track and Hero Pass (now and originally and the future) by playing the game though.

If you acknowledge we are getting better rewards with Daily Challenging coming back soon then Special Mission of Jagex accomplished and we RS3 players will be getting the much better rewards soon.

The number of cosmetics from Yak tracks and Hero pass seem about comparable. Many of the outfits and cosmetics are re-colors, not necessarily unique.

I'll acknowledge it when the game is updated. They said it could take WEEKS, meaning Jagex is depriving players of a feature for a very long time because of their mistake.

I'll also be waiting to see how they handle Dailly Challenge skips, which we were not reimbursed for. I had like 50 of them saved up, and Jagex basically deleted them.
