So, they tend to bring back the daily challenges. But, RS removed over 200 tokens to skip the daily chalenge. Will they bring them back also? After all, i am not a fan of this Hero Challenges. What is the use of cosmetics.

I think that they cannot reimburse the challenge tokens because there are people who would be very upset at losing the levels and rewards that they gave. It would also be incredibly difficult to sort out.

We should just wait until Jagex give us more details. They are working on bringing back the Challenging System (but they may need as much as 2 weeks).

Anything can happen but I seriously doubt they will restore Challenge Skip Tokens when hardly anybody cared and plenty of those who really care about skipping daily challenges used the better option - vis wax. They are likelier to do nothing to the Challenge Skip but I don't mind if they give us 10 free almost useless and exttemely easy to get Challenge Skip Tokens.

Not sure where you mixed up, but viswax is for extending the daily, and skip token was for completing the daily..

OK? Those players who care about rewards, skip tokens, care more about double rewards.

Context and my mai point remains Jagex hasn't announced the full details of Daily Challenge when we see it (next week perhaps), although they have already done us a favor today by giving us 3 free TH keys by just completing the first tier of Daily Mission without prior announcement. I think most of us are going to be happy or perhaps happier than expected when we see what we eventually get, as soon as next week.

It seems like Jagex has made things right with the Hero Pass.
I'll retract my negative criticism, and say that as it stands, this was an okay update.

of course I think the UI could use some tweaking and bugs need squished naturally, but that is any update.

Hopefully they also make it so you gain a little more than 4 hero points a minute, so you can level up your pass a bit quicker.

I am sad. Daily challenges as an ironman allowed me to boost 3 skills a day as some skills are tricky was a passive way to gain xp and gave me incentive to log in daily without fail. I dont have the same incentive now I feel sad

The new Daily Hero Pass feature is now a big improvement over the old Daily Challenge.

Now having a choice to do any skill or the high-lighted skill is a big improvement.

Jagex, do not bring back the old Daily Challenge - Daily Hero Pass is a better replacement.


I do have concern regarding the huge number of cosmetics on offer.


And the small amount of choice from the Oddments Store needs to be improved.

Personally, I want to use Oddments to buy the Pets and Animations that I missed from Yak Tracks. And later, to buy missed items from Hero Pass. Over 400 discontinued items have been issued. Most of them are rarer than a Santa Hat.
Daily trading volumes now give a good indication of true rarity.
Save the world, plant a tree. Feed the world, plant a fruit tree.

This should be just a temporary update, until the old Daily Challenge returns, maybe as soon as next week. So, just take the great benefits why they last. :)
