I have a couple of friends who would love to do Fort Forinthry but are level 3 HCIM which makes the zombies you have to defeat to start it a problem.

So what if level 3's could use a 'potion' to turn some of the zombies into zombie-killer-zombies and all the zombies would fight each other until none were left.

e.g. level 3 player turns up at start of the zombie part with ingredients for a 'potion'
6 vials of water
6 choc dust
6 clean harralander
600 sparkling energy
and a brief simple animation shows the zombies fighting until none are left.

I agree with this. Alternatively, let us stick with the theme and allow us to build catapults or traps that will eradicate the zombies without requiring combat.

This allows for the same outcome without changing the "lore" of the content, and doesn't arbitrarily lock out skillers from even the base content.

IMO a lvl 3 should be able to just chase them away. It wasn't a combat challenge, one click and poof. What difference does it make, beyond that click?

Besides, if anyone has met a zombie IRL you would know they do whatever you tell them.

Not happening, and not even worthy for the developers to consider. They don't divide RS3 into different game modes and different account builds.

Every piece of content is designed for general players meeting its objectives and requirements. Fort Fortinthy is designed for skilling, combat, questing, events among other new content. It is clearly stated we are going to have combat content later, what's the point of letting level 3 players to sidestep some lowly zombies now when they will have to face bigger opponents later?

Actually the zombies are very low levels and slow, you can just kite them with any level of combat literally.

What's the point of stopping level 3s from accessing the content completely, instead of limiting them later on when higher levelled content comes along?

Your arguments are like saying, let's start this questline off with a Grandmaster quest with super high level requirements, then have Sheep Sheerer as our storyline finale.
