Again, Dragon Slayer was not at all the end game content in 2001. We knew it was the start to more content. Why didn't people ask why Dragon SLayer locked players who solel wished to play skilling content in RSC/RS2/RS3 and OSRS?
We know there will be more than just construction and skilling. We were told clearly there would be combat, quests, events and other new things in the Fort.
Please tell me, what did Dragon Slayer unlock later down the line, and how long after Dragon Slayer did that content come along. Also, please tell me how there were zero other updates in that period between Dragon Slayer and the content that followed it.
We're talking about Fort Forinthry being the focal point of updates for 2023. If there are some fantastic skilling content updates to come, skillers have again been automatically locked out of it for
NO REASON!
Jagex have recent form with locking skillers out of skilling content. Accidental Fletching and Firemaking is combat locked for no apparent reason. If Jagex wish for players to engage with the content they put out, they need to make sure it's accessible. The current state of minigames is testament to this.
I keep asking this question, and you still haven't replied. Why lock skillers out of content?

~A~
Immediately. Dragon Slayer directly locked Crandor, which is obviously a skilling place and best mining location at that time.
Skillers have been locked out from Crandor mining for 21+ years by the combat in Dragon Slayer.

Crandor was far from the best mining location at the time, and everything that you could mine there could be mined elsewhere. It has since offered very little in way of new content in the past 21 years, and has pretty much been dead content since it first arrived, aside from a few slayer tasks and fallen stars.
Is this how you see Fort Forinthry? As a place only a few players will actually get any benefit from? As a piece of content soon to be unused and unwanted by the public?

Likewise, Fort Forinthry is far from the best construction location now. You can get faster xp doing Construction Contracts and clicking your fingers off in POH as well as using portable Workbench.
I only mentioned Crandor as one piece of content locked by Dragon Slayer. Don't forget Dragon Slayer also locked Rune armors and such that were the best content at the time. Fort Forinthry didn't even lock anything, just nothing at this point.

Correct.
Fort Forinthry hasn't locked anything meaningful,
yet
.
So if it's not meaningful yet, why have skillers been locked out?

Wrong! Not being the absolute best in everything doesn't mean it is not meaningful.
Crandor was meaningful because it had the best accessibilities to a lot of rocks including the most mined ones. Likewise, Fort Forinthry is very meaningful to players who don't to click their fingers off.

Death Touched Darts
Rings of Recoil
Have, some cast vengence on,you before the fight
I wanna say armor spikes,,but never tried a recoil + armor spike kill to see if you get xp
Spikes do give melee xp even when they're the sole source of damage - can be easily checked out at the giant mole with the mini moles that instantly die when they hit you once. The other two should work perfectly fine though.
Albeit once again - they should try it out on some account first, that isn't ruined by gaining a combat level or two.

how did it have the
best accessibilities
to a lot of rocks when mining guild has runite and all the other ores on crandor as well in it? which is also a lot closer to a bank all crandor has is up to addy and a fairly annoying run to tzHaar for a bank and only needs the 60 mining requirement to get in
cole is right skillers shouldnt be locked out of the start of the fort like they currently are
