I also noted that you didn't address my point on losing your level advantage so you know I'm right.

I think everyone is ignoring your claim that level advantages have been eliminated because Jagex hasn't announced it and you haven't offered any evidence to support that claim. Frankly, I wouldn't even care too much if lower levels got their harvest rates buffed.

If you're "scamming" yourself by planting 10 seeds instead of 1, then just stop planting 10 seeds at a time. All of these aspects that you're complaining about are completely optional, nobody is forcing you to plant 10 seeds at a time and there's no evidence that the herb production for 1 seed at a time has been reduced. I don't mind getting 300 herbs per run one bit, 2m profit per herb run is actually decent money.

While I agree that the number of seeds used per plot is optional, I have seen a reduction on average per 1 seed a plot as well.

Its possible its just shit RNG, or its possible there was some coding "fixes" to make this update work.

I would be careful on 2 days of release to flame someone on their returns of views , just because you have better returns per seed.

But, its a free day, do what you will :)

It doesn't matter how many days after release it is, IMO. 4dak shouldn't be flaming Jagex or anyone else for claims 4dak doesn't have any evidence to support.

Again, you totally omitted the time factor.

It's not an omission; the "time factor" is irrelevant to the overall point.
You can go read the actual news post from Jagex that has the little chart on it, which they even preface with this statement: "Plant Power lets you plant multiple seeds in one Farming patch, with diminishing returns . You’ll receive more produce for your time, but less produce per seed."

Nobody should be confused by that. It's a simple ratio. But the undeniable fact regarding that ratio remains, and that is yield per seed is less as you increase the number of seeds planted. It's that way by design. It even says it. You trying to wedge some arbitrary and nonexistent operand called the "time factor" into Jagex's programming doesn't somehow make it a thing.

I'm thrilled you're enjoying update and are planting multiple seeds all day long now. Expecting others to conform to what you think is a superior play style is where you go off the rails.

About the only good thing from " Update "Nerf"" is no more dead patches

The universal compost bin is an improvement.
If plant power also modified the doubling from juju or greenfingers, it might be a little more useful. Then again, it would run counter to Jagex's intent which was to burn up seeds for no apparent reason.

Time is definitely relevant as somebody in the forum said they have 4k seeds stockpiled. If they were going to plant 1 seed at a time, it would take them probably over 100 days just to use up what's in their bank for much lower profits. But now it only takes 10 days and they can realize 3x the profits.

Even if Yield per seed is lower, it's not a problem because you can still choose to just use 1 seed at a time. Jagex didn't take away your ability to plant one at a time.

Yield per seed is a bad measurement of success Imo. A better measurement of success is profit over time.
Plant power easily wins in that regard.

So long as the herb costs more than the seed, it will always be more beneficial to plant the highest number of seeds possible. There are other bonuses like juju farming potions and the green fingers aura that increases yield.

I've been using plant power and I noticed that I'm making more money per farm run.
Before I was making 750-800k profits per run. Now I'm making ~2 mil planting 7 seeds per patch.

But like I said before, it's a good update because if for any reason, you can still plant 1 seed at a time, and the yield id unchanged.

I have unlocked the first level but I am not going to get the next plant power upgrades. I prefer to get more herbs per seed than higher numbers per run. I don't have thousands of herb seeds in my seed bag or bank so I want to get the maximum number of herbs from them. I wish I could toggle off the option to plant more than one seed.

edit to add: I don't have a comp cape so I don't need to unlock everything from the shop
