I have a friend who is presently locked out of his account. He's been working with a Jmod but so far it's 2 days and he can't get onto his account. It keeps saying it's sending a code to his email but it's not. I'm going to wait a while honestly before I try this.
Just a little additional question:
How does it works on the forums? You log in with the Jagex account? If so, how do you choose with which account to post?

I just logged in. It's the same process: I have to use the Jagex account email address instead of my old character name and it prompts me to select which account to use to post on the Forums.

You log into your Jagex Account, preferably on the home page (runescape.com). The first time you'll be asked for your 2FA code, and then you'll be asked to choose which account you wish to log in, you click on the account and navigate to the forums. At the moment, only the home page remembers your login and lets you back in without having to re-authenticate. I'm hoping that once the Beta is done, all the website pages will remember.
You can also login to the website from the game by clicking on a news post from the Updates tab in the RS3 lobby screen, and then navigate to the forums.

Just wanted to note that this only works on RS3. If you try to click on your Message Centre from the Old School RuneScape client, you will be logged in but unable to post on the Forums. I remember that I brought this to Mod Lyon's attention many years ago. Clicking on a News post from the OSRS client doesn't log you in like it does on the RS3 lobby screen.
I transferred all my accounts into a jagex account and for a few weeks everything was fine until the system glitched on me and decided to stop sending the verified emails, now I'm stuck on this one account not able to log into the game and only exist through a linked account to speak on the forums jagex are refusing to help giving me links to recover or reset my details all of which require me to log in properly which I can't do as the system simply won't send me an email so I can log in, been stuck in this loop for a week now and could possibly lose all my accounts over this glitch
This is not looking good. Word is getting back that support can't restore accounts that get spaghettified by the system. I was digging through social media and I'm not even sure why they are on it, to this day.
The good news is the banner on the support page saying there is delayed response was removed. So the response is now normal. (?)

Seems like i've been forced to quit the game because jagex have locked me out of all my accounts and at the moment just giving me links that doesn't work
