I had a MRI some time ago and they gave me a panic button and said push if needed and they would stop. I just grabbed it and when they were not looking dropped it as I knew I would push it several times. Instead just closed my eyes and thought of happy things. If I remember right I was riding a horse along a nice white beach on some tropical island enjoying the sun and the spray from the horses hoves. By no time it was all over. Took over 30 mins.
Still don't want another though. Hated it so much lol.

I met with the head of Infectious Disease on Monday. He said there are two possible methods they can employ to get a sample of the bacteria to identify what it is, then devise a plan of attack. They may be able to avoid another surgery by using a needle to extract a culture. However, as the amount of infection is so small this might not work. In that case, a bone biopsy will have to be done, like I had last year. We'll figure that out on Wednesday, when I meet with Orthopedics.
My mom shares your view of MRIs. She hates them. She has one scheduled for later this month. I told her to be sure to request some music to take her mind off being in an enclosed space. They're not my favorite, but I can easily tolerate them if necessary. The music does help. Music always helps. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
