Learned an indie developer much smaller and failed more often on their games than Jagex can turn into an overnight sensation even bigtime mainstream news outlets like CNN made headlines of.
"#Palworld has sold over 7 million copies in only 5 days."

If nobodys like Pocket Pair can make 7 million copies x $30 each or $210 million in 7 days with their well kept and absolutely no-hype secret survival game Palworld, after failing many times with games like Craftopia, no sayings the bigger and more known Jagex and the likes never can.
Not just on the $$$ side, they blew away all big AAA titles with over 2 million concurrent players on Steam, and that's just Steam alone. With their presence on other consoles and Windows platforms, there may well be over 2.5 million concurrent players now.
It resembles Riot's amusing overnight rose to fame from a noname 40 man indie developers to eventually one of the biggest AAA game company.
Perhaps Jagex can learn a thing, or two from the survival games of other even smaller potatoes.
