Microsoft is fully launching their next generation AI tool pivotal to their Metaverse, Copilot, globally tomorrow. Soon we can learn all kinds of information about games like RS3 and OSRS and don't even have to log into these games or see any streams or Youtube videos.

For instance, some players asked why do we see the PEGI 16 label "this game contain drugs and ingame purchases" and what do they mean, soon they can just get the precise answer verbally from Microsoft Copilot, without googling or dig through over 9,000 contradicting and misleading responses.

Of course, Jagex has their own idea of similar AI assiatant Jagexa, although it was just an April Fools prank long ago. Someday we will see such AI assisted gaming tools in many games and even Runescape or whatever new name it will be called too.

The Metaverse is coming. Games are changing. And this is Microsoft's Metaverse, not the Facebook VR one which will still be a sci-fi for years to come.

I have learned Jagex is finally on their way to becoming a console video game company. This Means Warp is going to Nintendo Switch at the end of this month:

"Jagex and Outlier Games’ co-op sci-fi survival game, This Means Warp, is coming to Switch on Nov. 30th, 2023"

https://gonintendo.com/contents/28448-this-means-warp-set-for-nov-30th-2023-switch-release

This Means Jagex's first success in porting and launching games in their lengthening portfolio of games, setting up connections with the console (or at least Nintendo) sector, and paving way for further development and eventual launch of their bigger games like RS3 on consoles they have been talking about since more than 2 years ago:

"The work done on this touch screen API for mobile means if the game were to make its way onto consoles, the Nintendo Switch would be a logical first choice. Casey remarked on how the game's mobile port laid the path toward platforms like the Switch.

It seems after the mobile release in June, the team will continue to move the game to other hardware. Powney added that the "mobile team will eventually evolve beyond the mobile team." For Jagex, RuneScape "is a marathon, not a sprint," according to Powney, and a massive expansion onto consoles like the Switch certainly seems possible."

A small step for It Means Warp, one giant leap for Jagex...

Jim, the Jagex Console Warp is alive!

Xbox release for open-world zombie survival game SCUM has been confirmed

SCUM is going to consoles in its upcoming 1.0 release too, Xbox rather than Switch.

The Earthlock series, Melvor Idle and more next perhaps.

It probably may not be soon for RS3, but eventually we will get there after the Jagex Partners games landed on consoles.

Cambridge! Cambridge! The Eagle has landed!

"Cambridge, UK, 30 November 2023. Today Jagex and Outlier Games’ spaceship management roguelite, This Means Warp, launches on consoles. Now available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, players can fly solo to take on the fast-paced sci-fi action or enlist with some trusty crewmates in co-op. "

This Means Jagex has warped into strange new console worlds, sought out new communities and civilizations, and boldly gone where no Gielinorean has gone before...

Congrats to Jagex on becoming a console game company on November 2023, after 22 years in business. This is Alpha, but it won't be Omega... as SCUM will land on Xbox soon... eventually the Jagex of Future Age will be on consoles too, rest assured, Next Gen Gielineroeans will be playing on consoles a little further down the road too... We have The Needle afterall. We, Time Guardian controls time - the past, the present and the future. :)

It is easy to have learned Jagex can be very successful with games other than RS3 and OSRS.

For example, the noticeable success of SCUM alone proved all the naysayers very wrong already.

SCUM, under the operation of Jagex, is having the best ever 30 days of average players on Steam ever since the first week of its release. And they can only do better with full launch of v1.0 on console and other platforms outside Steam globally soon.

This is quite good news especially when they are gaining momentum when RS3 and OSRS were losing steam. Actually OSRS just hit historical record low of 30 days average players at 906.

What we have learned is even Jagex couldn't make new successful games themselves, they can always buy quality ones other reputable developers made and make them very successful.

We should also learn to trust whatever a company like Jagex officially put in their Companies House Statements, like Risk and Uncertainties, and Future Development, because they have significant meanings to the consumers and financial sectors.

For instance, what they wrote in Pages 3 and 4 of their 2021 Financial Report filed with Companies House:

- Ensuring all new games and content added are of highest quality and bug free, to help products succeed in the marketplace and reduce reliance on a smaller pool of games (Old School Runescape and Runescape) and legacy stacks.

- Developing and launching new games including additional content in our current games as well as other new titles, while regularly monitoring the player behaviour by utilising the high degree of skill in our analytic teams and interacting with the community, as well as observing game industry trends.

Rest assured, we have seen plenty of new games, such as SCUM, the Earthlock series, Pipelinen Studios games, This Means War and Melvor Idle added to the original smaller pool of games (Old School Runescape and Runescape). Clear trend in modernizing and remastering games like RS3 also complied to Jagex's missions in reducing legacy stacks and risks and uncertainties associated with them.

There's a lot I've learned over the years! I've been on RS since the beginning, and first of all the game have helped me with the language. I have always had some problems with English, but RS and the friendly community have gave me a lot of exercise and positive comments. That's been amazing, and is the reason to why I am able to use English these days. :) It all made it possible for me to study at a advance level in English, so I am really thankful for all of this. Besides the language RS learned me a lot of different perspectives, views of life and so on. This have been possible thru the amazing community and all friendly players I've been able to play among during the years. It all has been an amazing adventure, and I am so thankful for everything. :) Regards,
Kevin

Oh there have been many things I've learned over the years....most of which RS supplemented in, but didn't fully teach, as I've been involved in groups that build on these skills also. They all worked with each-other also.

Few examples:

- Planning and Goal Setting
There's things you want to accomplish, and steps you have to complete before you can do it. So plotting out these paths to achieve the goals is important.

- Patience
Nothing is going to be instant. So much instant gratification these days, and it takes time to achieve goals, levels, items.

- Trust
An online game thankfully is a safe place where you can learn that not everyone can be trusted. You learn who to make connections with and how to interact with the general public.

- Budgeting
You have a limited amount of GP, and the fun stuff costs money, and doing activities cost money. Gotta know how much is coming in and going out, and if you can afford to get an armor upgrade, cosmetic, or whatever, without hindering on your ability to do other things.

Another example of a safe space to practice that skill too.
Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?
"No."[1]
