Yeah and I spent a bit of time catching up. Also had to update my GE scraper as they had released a API to make things easier. I suppose I should release the Google Sheets version under the GPL but I think I'll keep the Postgres one that runs on my server private.

Once again you have NO clue what you are talking about. For starters killing another player gives combat xp (unless you've turned it off, but who does pures these days?), and is also recorded on your wildstalker helmet.

You seem to be under the impression that I am "scared" of, well, both Ripper Demons (which I have repeatedly stated I like killing), and PvP in general. You Are Mistaken.

We all know 2007 RS2 and OSRS haven't added as many more recent PvP content than RS3. OSRS's Soul Wars was even copied from RS3. RS3 didn't nuke any pvp and they only added more more. That's the fact.

When we are talking about open world pvp and roaming bosses pvm content in this thread, some who quit 7 years ago tried so hard to deflect the topic to xp, we know the story already. Skillers who quit 7 years ago obviously didn't know a thing about 2023 pvp and pvm content. Of course such person obviously can't pretend pvp activities like Warbands don't exist when they suddenly found CLANS there. What a miracle? Hallelujah!

It doesn't mean that something with a definition in another game has the same definition in this game. Go fill in 'PvP' in the RS Wiki and see where you end up.


As an example: you'll find that the definition of 'Divination' in the real world is totally different from what it is in RS.

As another example: 'Fletching' according to Wikipedia only applies to adding feathers to arrows, bolts, darts and javelins, and doesn't mention the carving or stringing of a bow anywhere.


Context is key.

There is no right or wrong in this kind of discussion. Jagex didn't say anything about this in their future game discussions. We can all see what have been put in the game and express our opinions on how to improve them even further for the RS3 community throgh this thread though.

I certainly don't call anybody who have different opinions "annoying" or "look like a troll" even when they are free players trying to command on all aspect including player content.

TYVM for your opinion.

Who said pvp = player killing when discussing RS? Never. Even if you think so, there is no restriction we can't have pvp but not player killing content in the future.

We have Cabbage Facepuck now in an instance. Why can't we have it in open world in the future? Same to other player versus player content like Heist.

We already have pvp content but not have pking involved in RS3 already. We already have p(et) vs (pet). Our pets can fight other players' pets. We also have battleships vs battleships. The mechanics are already here in RS3.

Come on Diblert, forgive me if i have not took the time to keep up with your thread.

Excuse me for seeming like i am "butting in" but imo, asking Jagex to "Remaster" the game they have gave to the world in the best form they could "and winged it" quite a lot while at times failing and passing it off as programming when in reality....

As a somewhat "major company" they employ basic coders, pretty boys and at times "ex macro programmers" to try and run the whole game while for as long as i have known, basically run an illegal free labour business of people called "moderators - "player/Forum" to police everything basically for free and ok, these people may agree to helping out of the good of their heart and i kinda get that.

But when you have to sit there and watch one of these "free helpers" get dropped like a bag of shit cos after all the years of abuse hit back a bit just once and then Jagex just wipes them off the sole of their shoe just like a dollop of dog shit.

The sheer thought of some nobody expecting better things just pisses me right off lol
