I don't think you can get from prickly pear. Believe the only way to get Wallace would be the defence activity in warriors guild, or if jagex decides to have a holiday event that gives defence xp like last years with summoning. Blackston is a Naabe.

Temple of Ikov update:

I just did it again using a shieldbow. As suggested in previous posts, cast curse or weaken, and immediately click away from him to not use any ranged attacks on him. Use basic abilities such as freedom, anticipate, and provoke.

If you use those quickly enough after curse or weaken, they will build adrenaline, and with a shieldbow you'll eventually be able to use reflect. That'll help speed up the kill as well.

Has anyone done the Tirannwn medium achievements?

One involves killing one of the elves in the elf camp south of Prif with a halberd.

I tried recoiling one with a halberd equipped, but that didn't work. Used basic defensive abilities also. So it appears that you have to actually damage it with the halberd.

Thanks to the Mining and Smithing beta we were able to test out a few problematic quests, notably Swan Song and The Elder Kiln (both doable!). Also I'm going to edit the Rocking Out post to be a bit more clear. Now onto the quests:

Swan Song
- Recoil, but requires x7 DTD

First 7 Trolls require DTD or else you will receive xp since the Wise Old Man is 'helping' you. Only way to avoid the xp is to DTD each of them.
The other 3 trolls while fishing and the Sea Troll Queen can be recoiled with no xp.

The Elder Kiln
- Recoil, but requires x3 DTD

Everything in this quest can be recoiled except for the TokTz-Ket-Dills. The only way to kill these are to break the armour off (using a sword and pick in toolbelt), then use DTD on them.

Not sure if you've seen yet, but this forum subsection is getting removed next week. Check this thread for more information about it...

Not too sure the subsection Meadows suggests is suitable for your thread though. I'd personally put it in the RuneScape Guides subsection, but that's for you to decide.. ;)
