when u get the mace and have to kill the mage and ranger from a distance. i recoiled them with blood necklace

Sigmund fight at the end of the quest you attack him normally he teleports away no xp. Fear the almighty Woo Lord ...

With herblore 120 came bombs, and after some testing, here are the conclusions:

* All three types of bomb can be used to safely tag a monster from a distance.

* Poison bombs will poison enemies and the poison works like normal poison, meaning you don't get xp for a poison-only kill.

* Poison bomb's poison damage scales with your ability damage (like normal poison), so having a good weapon wielded is mandatory to do decent damage.


As for questing: poison bombs seem to be useful for the following quests (ALL TESTED):
- Blood Pact: safe way to poison the cultists without having to damage them. Should make the quest WAY easier for skillers.
- Big Chompy Bird Hunting: safe way to kill the chompies!
- Saving Skrach Uglogwee: safe way to kill the jubblies
- Lunar Diplomacy: safe way to kill "Me"

Feel free to add any ideas for other uses...

Just remember to use fury (t), Asylum surgeons ring and obby/skill cape and it takes less than 4 minutes per kill at 1 ranged.

The best weapon to wield is probably the Bone Spear, which has t15 stats but only requires completion of the Lost Tribe quest.

Guys, I need some help. I'm 10 constitution and 1 defence, so no provokes for me.
Is there any way to kill the fire warrior in temple of ikov?

So far I tried:
Using a banshee to lower my ranged level, brewing to 0 ranged and splashing with an ice arrow. Then recoiling. It didn't progress.
Throwing a poison bomb. It does throw, but deals no damage. I also get the "can't harm me" message for the duration of the poison cloud.
Using Bolas + Ice arrows equipped. Same message, so no dice.
Using a "no damage" type of spell on it with a bow + ice arrows equipped. I can cast confuse on it just fine, but recoiling it gave me, yet again, no progress.
I haven't tried venging it yet, as I recall vengeance giving combat xp to whoever it was cast on. Don't think it does anything other than recoil either way.
Deathtouched darts won't work, as they're not an ice arrow.

Do you guys have any other ideas for me?

An update to zogre flesh eaters: normal tag + recoiling Slash Bash did not update the quest. No items would drop. Throw in a poison bomb and it completes perfectly fine.

An update to Mourning's End: Part 1. Recoiling the mourner no longer works. Neither do poison bombs. No items drop. TFK won't work if the person has completed plague's end. Haven't tested a TFK with someone who hasn't done it. I can't verify if provoke works, as I have 1 defence. Seems without defence our only option now is to use a deathtouched dart on it. *update* TFK doesn't work at all. Tried it with a clan mate, who hadn't completed the elf quests. An attempt before he started MEP1 and one while he was on the quest. A DTD really is our only option, it seems.

For the HCIM's among us: I completed Recruitment Drive on a level 3 HCIM skiller, as a female character. No gender changes. Sir Leye does not engage immediately. Teleport to Falador Lodestone. Do not take the portal out of the area. Teleporting seems to keep the quest progress in tact, allowing you to move on where you left off and potentially skip the fight entirely without dying.

Well, it's official. I just completed Crocodile tears without a dart. My successful attempt took me about 1k purple sweets, 16 Sara brew flasks (ran out of 4 dose in the previous attempt, which got it to 7 health. Close call, you might make it but flasks are heavily recommended), 2 super prayer renewals and 8 rings of recoil.

Went in with a blood amulet, deathtouch bracelet and the obvious rings of recoil.
Tagged with bolas and wore the holy wrench. 75 prayer, 1 def, 10 constitution.

Start off by drinking a dose of Sara brew to double health, pray protect ranged and start the fight. Immediately run away from the boss, right next to the stairs in the corner. This prevents any melee damage. Spam eat your purple sweets and if your health gets below 600, drink a dose of your Sara brew. Especially at 1 defence it hits its max hit very often so don't take risks.

EoC is pretty essential so you can keybind stuff.
