^ While it's appreciated that you're trying to warn players of potential scams (and believe me more awareness needs to be spread about some scams for sure), posting links to any external sites isn't advisable because there's no way for us as players to know whether or not anything malicious is hidden in them, as harmless as your intents may have been. As quoted from the Code of Conduct: "
Links are only permitted for pages on the RuneScape website only
"
Just incase you didn't know! ;)

Other than a little nit-picking on my part, thanks for letting us know about that particular scam. :) Though I'm still a little unclear about what exactly takes place during the scam. Perhaps you can clarify a bit (without mentioning any names), never hurts to have that extra bit of insight, thanks!

@ Ahmedtal*at1 - Your post has been hidden as neither posting link to outside sites nor accusing other players by name is permitted on the forums. If you have been scammed in the game you should have sent in an abuse report from in game at the time of the incident, allowing Jagex to have the evidence needed to take action against that person.

Spam Luring

What is spam luring? Spam luring is a lure that gets unsuspecting users to think they could win a "give-away" sometimes using known streamers and youtubers name to lure you in. (Not advertising a website...) The guy will then ask his unsuspecting victims to continuously spam trade them, and the trades that he accepts will win the prize. DO NOT TRADE THEM because if you start spamming him with trades, he'll then report you for spamming, this could lead to a: Temporary Mute, Permanent Mute, maybe even a Ban. Though this is not a scam for money, but I figured I should share it to keep the community safer.

Just report the player for: Encouraging Rule Breaking. Then you'll have a choice to add them to your ignore list if you so choose.

I made a post about this a while back but it was taken down. If there is an issue with the post just inform me so I could edit it and fix it so I can still inform people on this. Stay safe my friends.
