Hello there,

After reading through this thread, I was shocked on how detailed and informative this thread is. So I have decided to make the thread a sticky.

Previously there was a thread similar to this in Account help, created by mod poppy. Since then, it's now been removed. I feel it will be beneficial to the community if this thread was stickied. It would be awesome if you could keep the thread up to date. But with the scams, I must request that you don't add *too much* information. We wouldn't want scammers reading this thread to find out how to scam others. So you'll have to be a little bit careful regarding that.

about the trading lending scam: i thought i was safe... when you have a freinds window up, you dont get a declined trade message, someone willl tell you to keep your freinds window on so i can talk to you while we trade..... dont do this... i think jagex needs to make the declined trade message in all windows including freinds window. thats how i got scammed, i thought i was safe and that it would show me a declined trade but it didnt give me a message. now i dont know what to do. i reported them but who knows if they will even get in trouble and now im out of a pretty expensive item. i hope jagex makes the declined trade text available in all windows because this one is exploited big time as of march 2012
