OBVIOUSLY thousands of people were literally begging to have this done. Thousands.

If its any consolation, which I know it wont be, a maelstrom of discontent is raging on reddit over the release of the names, with players making wild accusations of Jagex corruption over this perceived fiasco and historic crimes, such as revealing update information to brown nosers who invested heavily in items that would rise in price.
