The membership sweep has now been completed.
21 members were removed for failing to respond to the sweep.
The status of Friends-chat-only no longer exists.
3 members were removed as a result of previously-notified resignations.
2 members who had recently regained their Capes were made Caped Carousers.
13 members who had not yet completed "The Branches of Darkmeyer" were made Revellers.
(Note that Inebriates and on-going provisionals are not marked as Revellers, and the current Tipplers haven't yet completed BoD either. So if you see a bronze star, gold star *or* chevron(s) in the CC, ask before making a spoilery comment about BoD! The non-discussion period for "Ritual of the Mahjarrat" is still in effect, so that quest should not be referenced in the CC at all.)
Any non-provisional member removed from the membership list in the sweep may reapply in the Recruitment thread - but please be aware that acceptance is not automatic. Your reapplication must also provide the reason for your failure to post a notification of your Cape status in the Sweep thread during the period of the sweep.
Reapplicants will be assessed as new members (so must have a current Quest Cape) but if accepted, will revert to their previous status as a full Carouser (ie they will not need to serve a new provisional period).
*Exception:* If you are a Tippler who has been swept, you need not post a formal reapplication, but you should post in Rec indicating your wish to be added back to the Clan Chat.

The assessment of those provisionals who were admitted before the release of "The Branches of Darkmeyer" is now complete.
If you're a provisional who no longer has access to the Friends chat, it's because you never got as far as joining the Clan Chat and no-one had any idea what you were like. Seems as if we weren't quite your cup of tea? Your continuing membership has therefore been declined.
Of those provisionals who did join the CC, some people have now been given a silver star. This means that you've made a good impression on the group, and we'd like to keep you around. Congratulations! :)
A few people have been left as provisionals. This means that either you made a good impression with some but not so good with others, or you didn't make much of an impression at all.
Your status will be assessed again at the next assessment date on Thursday 29 September (because RotM was released on a Wednesday, when assessments are not held. So in fact was BoD, but I postponed its assessment date till Friday's sweep.)
