At least I'm not part of the gang of hostile bullies that has driven away the dedicated hard working ranks and gutted the fc, leaving it a shell of what it was a year ago when I was an admin. What have you got left? Very little. Good job!

Lol guys, stop. It's like trying to babysit 12 year olds when you guys get at it. Dardad certainly wasn't the first one to say Lyra has been inactive for much of the year and the overall participation of the fc is because people are taking the time to enjoy the last bits of summer before school starts. We should hopefully be looking towards increased activity in the coming weeks. I'm kind of disappointed by the activity of ranks (myself included) this past month specifically, since many were doing so well last month.

Lyra bases it entirely on what the majority of the votes were. For example, if most votes were +s, that person gets a promotion.

We used to have a system where admins would review all promotions of star ranks, however, I don't think that this is still done with the admins being fairly absent for the most part.

That's relatively correct, its just based on the majority vote during the session (so voting is sort of biased on who is present at the session). Once in a while if the voting seems relatively unfair admins can re-vote on the person's rank to better depict their contributions. Admins also review all star ranks in their own way and give +/- on their rank up sometime during the month to determine if they have done enough to become a lieutenant or captain.

Suggestion for next session is that these be posted publicly for transparency. It raises questions when some people are (on more than one occasion) voted down but then it seems the vote is just ignored. If there's a reason then fair enough, but it isn't obvious that there is one Andy Murray to win Wimbledon 2022.

Hello again friends, I have recently discovered that I was kos'ed for trolling. Yet, I haven't trolled. Imo trolling isn't perma banned worthy, but a rank told me that if it keeps happening then the only option is to permanently ban them. Which makes perfect sense. I've been in rquark fc on my multiple alts many of times and haven't caused any trouble. I don't see why I'm still added. It's been a long long LONG wait. :/ Just give me another chance :c It's simple, if I break any of the fc rules, then just add me back to kos, and if I don't, then don't add me.

I'll leave this quote here as it was from a very similar case that was reviewed by an ex-admin (Midas1980/Since1980) from the old FC/CC thread, and I feel that it does a very good job of explaining how situations involving people added to KOS for trolling are generally handled:

1.Trolling will get you added on kos list even if do it only once
2.You didnt manipulate/lure/scam so only a minor rule breaking there which you didnt repeat after you were added on kos list
3.Posting in here explaining the reasons you want a 2nd chance is helping your case

Therefore your appeal against ban has been accepted and you may enter the fc again without being kicked
Also consider that this will be your only chance you ll get and if you ever get added on kos list again for any reason you wont be able to appeal again which will result to a perm ban from fc.

Trolling is typically one of the less severe rules, assuming the trolling does not also break one of Jagex's rules (such as racist, intollerant, or seriously offensive comments), so when a player shows genuine remorse for what they did, they will usually be given a second chance. In my opinion, most people that are placed on KOS for trolling do deserve a second chance.

My vote is for Hulkinator to be given a second chance.

But just as a reminder, Hulk, if an admin does remove you from KOS and you proceed to break any rules in R Quark thereafter, you will be placed on the ban list with no chance of appeal.

I figured that I would post the above so that admins could respond to the KOS appeal with no fear of breaking the naming and shaming rule. Simply saying whether the appeal is accepted or denied will suffice.

If I recall, you are on R Quark's ignore list and so keep in mind that it may take awhile until you are able to rejoin the fc due to owner being muchly inactive. After you are able to rejoin the fc, if you are mistakenly kicked, join the cc and refer fc ranks to this post.
