Land: Desert mining camp
Access to Land: al kharid

Something something lore, something something desert, something something lore! ( gotta write something up real fast but wanted to put this out here

Also Tsv would like to build a ship and name it " The Scorched Sands" ( yes throw back to w103 t5) Ill have some lore written up today or tomorrow :)

Waiting to update the claim until lore is posted.

The Scorched Sands has been built, and it is currently stationed at Sophanem.

Sweat dripped down the side of 3randon's face as he looked out of a window in the palace of Al kharid southward towards the desert beyond. Nothing much but minable land and sand sat between Al Kharid and Sophanem yet The silver Vigil needs resources. The north desert was home to a massive mine. And the silver vigil needed trading goods.

3randon called for a servant of the palace to bring some paper, pen and ink, and sealing wax.

Taking the supplies, 3randon sat down to pen a letter to the master of the mining camp. In exchange for passage and resources The silver vigil would offer protection against his enemies.

Once done he sat back and thought to himself, "one move at a time. I always loved chess."

Xul was shocked by the weather and Godkin's appearance at the island - but not a single thought of fear ever crossed his mind. He therefore picked up the pen and wrote the following in a reply to Godkin,

" Godkin, of the Lykkelig Beruset Tribe.

Meet me at the bridge two days from today.

Signed,

Xul
, Guardian of the Kingdom
."

The letter-scroll was tied to the raven's claw, and sent away.
After that Xul went out and started gathering material and cleaning up after the storm.
Ok good luck

A Secret Meeting with Lumbridge

Usually, General Verus was a man to bring artillery to the field, rather than words. However, he felt like he could deliver to Lumbridge enough confidence for them to join the Kingdom. In the midst of the night, he set off from Varrock, journeying forth to the war-torn capital that was Lumbridge.

When he finally reached the capital, out came two of the Duke's guards, awaiting the General's arrival. Citizens peered out in fear, as they saw the well known bloodied General step into the sanctum of the Duke's court. Many were terrified, afraid that Darius had brought his militia with him.

Inside of the court room, Darius held firm onto a blade fashioned underneath his coat, incase there was any form of ambush. The duke approached him, having his Guards leave the chamber. As the doors closed, the mood in the room quickly turned from cheerful to a darkened serious impression. The last guard watched the Duke's smile fall off of his face as the chamber doors closed.

When the doors burst open, General Verus walked out proud, and the Duke of Lumbridge as well walked out, but he remained emotionless, and whatever happened within the chambers, he was not fully willing to express at the time being. The bystanding citizens couldn't tell if their Duke was happy about the deal or upset, as he just seemed neutral at best, or expressive of nothing at all. Darius, however, not wasting a moment, planted the Banner of Varrock into the center of the courtyard, looking around as the citizens of Lumbridge went from unspoken terror to an outcry of joy, surrounding the General with a plethora of questions as to what came of the deal.

The Duke headed to his chambers, and he fumbled something in his hands, something new, that the Guards had never seen. The guardsmen could tell something was troubling the Duke, something dark and disturbing.

(I am no longer the leader of the DefendersOfGielinor, and as such I remove myself for the time being from the community unless people want to rp with me for whatever reason. What DOG does now is no longer in my hands)

The sun was hot that day. Working in the sun normally would not suit a king, but the kingdom needed to be rebuilt. Hours passed and slowly progress was being made to rebuild West Ardougne. As King Lunar sat down to take a break from work, he felt a pinprick in his back before seeing a familiar face and then losing all consciousness.

Hours passed on and eventually the King awoke finding himself far, far from the warmth of the Ardougne locals. The area felt familiar, however not a friendly familiar. He noticed a smell of something burning and looked around. Volcanic ash lay around him as he realized where he was. The wilderness volcano. Someone must have drug him here after they knocked him out.

The real question was who was that face he saw…It was surely a man. He did not have very many enemies back home, yet a few came to mind. It could had been a spy sent from Lathas from within the builder's ranks or maybe one of his own court. He shook it from his thoughts for there were more important things to consider. He had to make his way out of here.

Slowly and carefully, Lunar made his way out of the wilderness. Avoiding beasts and people alike. These areas were known for the death and despair that followed on entering unprepared. Sneaking past dragons and demons, he wandered for what seemed hours, hungry and alone until he finally made it to the Edgeville border.

A strange man with a heavy pack awaited him. "Sir, you look like you could use a bite to eat, why not come with me to a friend of mine's house?" Said the man. Nodding only, the once King followed him to the home of a man named Dave. There seemed to be nobody home but a woman stepped from the kitchen with a loud "Another one Rich? Well come on then, let’s get you fixed up."

After partaking in the fresh stew from his gracious host, Lunar made his way to the door of the kitchen. “Thank you for your kindness Doris. I wish I could offer you more but I have nothing.” He said to the lady of the house. “Don’t worry about it sweetie, we have all types that come through and are in similar shape to yourself.” Doris gave with a quick reply.

He made is way out of the Edgeville local’s home and began his time as a peasant. There was no chance that he could make it back to Ardougne alone.

Several weeks passed as he wandered through towns and cities. Eventually he came to a place known as Catherby. A small and quaint fishing port. With some of the gold he made, he entered the local fishing supply store. “What can I do you for sir?” Asked Harry, the owner of the shop. “Just some basic fishing supplies, I wish to learn the trade.” Was his reply. “Ah, a man seeking the secrets of the deep eh? I may have just the thing for you.” Harry mentioned as he turned away and entered the back room.

Moments later he returned with a large package. “Inside you will find several things that should help you.” He made a motion towards Lunar to open the package and he did so without question. Inside there was 2 collapsible fishing rods, a small crayfish pot, and several nets. There was also a good portion of fresh cut bait resting in the bottom of the package. “How much do I owe you for all this?” questioned Lunar. “20 gold for the lot and I’ll throw in a book of fishing tips and tricks for free!” Exclaimed Harry. Lunar reached into his raged coat pocket and pulled out the requested gold. “Happy fishing!” Harry shouted as Lunar gathered up his newly gained supplies and walked out the door.

This is the beginning of his new life as a humble fisherman. Nobody really knows what became of Lunar, he was known to be just and kind in his rulings but could have a stern hand if the need arose. Maybe one day we will find more. But for now, happy travels and may the wind always be at your back.

Korangar, part 1.

Thorel, Queen of the Seas, arrived safe back at Port Tyras a few days later. The Fremennik living in the elven lands were excited about the news of Neitiznot joining under Kingdom of Isafdar’s banner. However, the joy was short-lived as rumors of a sleepless creature roaming the tunnels of the Underground Pass spread like wildfire through the united elven lands. People used the word Korangar when talking about this creature and rumor. Taking no risks, the Elder Council commanded the warriors of the Kingdom to prepare for a journey into The Pass. This proved to be problematic, as majority of the warriors and monster slayers – including Elder Wenu – were still in The Gnome Stronghold. Xul was still at Neitiznot, and Prince Hembrox and Princess Eleonoraaa were both unavailable and days away. Getting all of them back to the woods of Isafdar would take too much time, in which the creature (if there was one) from the Underground Pass could almost effortlessly enter the Kingdom, setting citizens’ life at risk.

With few options left, it was decided that those with experience in creature-slaying that were left in Isafdar and Prifddinas would take on the Underground Pass. Leading the group was a very experienced warrior, and newly appointed leader - Slyhter, a mighty Fremennik warrior.

Entering The Underground pass, the group found some otherworldly spirits several places. The spirits were hostile, but the group used their skills and managed to defeat the otherworldly spirits, in a battle that proved to be challenging. The source that had created the spirits was never found, and remained a huge question mark for the Kingdom. The next few days were spent on securing the Underground Pass, and several control posts were put up, including one at the mining camp the Kingdom started to use.
