She sent out the letters via hawk. She went over to the balcony and looked over the western side of the city towards the ports district. She had a strange feeling as if more was to come.
She hated when that feeling was correct.

Jade Khal and Hinji Gin entered the room.
Jade was the scout of the Western boundary of the Arc wher Hinjin was the scout of the Eastern boundary of the Arc. Behind them was Gerel, head of the boundary scouts.
He passed Jade and Hinjin and bowed.

"Ridley, usually you would see one of them giving you a report of sightings of possible threats. However, it would seem we are being surrounded...by eastern pirates. And not just from the skull region."

Ridley eyes widened, her body tensing.
"Have the whole of the Arc region on High alert, and keep the threat level to critical and alert all inhabitants of the Arc and their respective Khans and the Vizier of the Arc. I will alert the Order and Council. Jade...Hinji, have your scouts spread out and send word on any activity."

She grabbed her things and ran out towards the catacombs.

Standing on the battlements of Goshima Mimring looked at a sinking pirate ship with a satisfied smile before the alarm rang from another side of the island and cannon fire quickly answered the alarm blasting the sides of the pirates before they had the chance of damaging the walls.

"it's the fifth one just this week, what is going on..."

"A message for the Khan!"
A courrier ran across the walls before handing Mimring the message from Ridley, quickly reading it.

"Well, that explains a lot. Very well, double the watchers and ready the experimental weapons, I want the entire area on alert, send the "Senntisten's revenge" to Cyclosis to bolster their defense, order the mens we have in Menaphos to stay there and reinforce the defense of the city"

The fortress quickly sprang to action, in a matter of minutes weapons were pulled out and readied for an assault.

Looking as his orders were executed with intense satisfaction Mimring turned back to the last remains of the ship joining the numerous wreckages around the island.

"Goshima will stand strong..." Khan of Goshima, master of the order of the damned.

Location: The Rusty Anchor Inn (Port Sarim)
Time: Two nights after the announcements of sightings of the massive dark ship.

Jimmy would be reclining back in a chair, only the back legs sitting on the ground, his feet propt up on the table he and several of his crewmembers sat at. The tavern was buzzing with life this night, full of sailors, pirates, some good, some bad, and some in between, and plenty of lush wenches.

But through the lips of many of the occupants, was murrmurrs of this mighty dark ship in the middle of the southern seas, said to bring with it dark clouds and treacherous waters. A myth, the first mate first thought, when he had heard about it, but now the rumors were growing like wild fire.

So much so, that all the kingdoms and empires throughout the land were on watchout for this mighty beast. Mayhap it had great boon?

"Oy, Jimmy? Ye there?" Dock, their navigator, would wave his hand in front of Jimmy's eyes, causing him to snap from his thoughts, "Hmm? Oh yes, yes, I'm fine." "Wow, mate, ye were gone." The table would errupt in chuckles.

"If you'll excuse me, gents, I believe I will relieve myself for the night." He would bring his feet down from the table, causing his chair to sit correctly upon the floor, standing he would straighten his garments and turn to make his way to the door.

"The night is still young, Jimmy!" Dock would call after him. "Yes.. yes it is, Dock." He would push out past the other patrons, finally reaching the open doors of the tavern. As he stepped out into the open night air, he would breathe in a deep breath. "Ahh..." "Feels nice, don't it?" A deep voice startled him, his gaze drifted over to Lazarus, who was leaning against the wall. "I suppose not as nice to me, as it is to you, now that you know how it feels."

The captain would grin and nod. "So many things mortal men take for granted..."

Jimmy would grin, "Aye, and don't forget that it's made out of pure ebony." "Oh yes, we mustn't forget that." The two men would chuckle. "I do worry about how gossip spreads around here..." Lazarus hung his head, "Humans can be so fickle..."

"Hey, don't count us all out." Jimmy would grasp his captain's shoulder, reassuring him, "But..." His hand dropped to his side, "For someone who has grown quite fond of pillaging, and shiny things... You do not seem very interested in these tales." "For me, I'll believe it when I see it." He pushed away from the wall and turned to Jimmy fully, "If what rumors say is true, it's not just the kingdoms that should be worried... This giant could be the bane for us pirates aswell."

Jimmy rubbed his chin, "I suppose... it really doesn't sound like a welcoming sight.." "Either way, either if it's friend, or foe, we might have a real problem on our hands... the authorities have stepped up, wary of any pirate activity... No doubt that our antics around here have caused that, aswell." "Mmm.. indeed... Maybe we should keep our heads down for the time being...?" "It's probably best..."

"I'm honestly surprised we haven't been approached yet, to be honest with you." "Well for one... we're master of disguises..." Lazarus smirked. "Uh, Captain... I'm not sure if dressing up as women is much of a disguise." "Oy! It works!" His smirk widened, "Plus, don't you feel pretty wearing all that?" Jimmy simply stared, not sure whether to take the captain serious or not. Snickering, Lazarus would wrap his arm around his first mate, and they would walk off into the darkness of the night.

Lorry Rayne sat in her bedroom, gazing out the window of Sinclair Mansion, as well as a map in front of her of all of Gielinor and the settlements. It showed the Kingdoms of Isafdar and Varrock the Wushanko Empire, the Aegis of Saradomin, as well as the lands held by The Blessed Family. In one way, the Blessed Family was truly blessed with allies. However, they needed naval trade and some sort of navy to protect it. But for that to happen, she realized she needed a Naval City. She went with Sir Rowdy to Rellekka and Chief Brundt.
“Greetings, Chief Brundt. She and Sir Rowdy bow before the Chief in his great hall. “We are the Blessed Family. We have some land down south, but are in desperate need of trade. Is there any way we can use your harbor to build ships for trade and defense? We would be happy to protect your town if you’d give us access.”
Chief Brundt gazed at them. “What do I get out of this? We don’t need protection. Our warriors are strong. We have our own boats.”
Lorry Rayne sighed. "I'm guessing you lack coin? Resources? She takes out a bag.I'll pay for it.
The Chief looks at the bag greedily.How much is in there?
Lorry Rayned frowned.Enough... Now will you accept it?
No. Brundt said with finality.
What?! Why not?! Lorry exclaimed.
Because I want you to prove yourself. Brundt replied knowingly.
How am I to do that? Lorry asked.
By besting the strongest among us, of course! Chief Brundt growled.He goes ny the name of Bardur... Deep in Waterbirth he is... Fighting Dagganoths. Now... Go... He added slowly and dramatically.
I killed the wolves for you... Is that not enough? She asked, annoyed. She left and travels to Waterbirth Island, running through the Dungeon until she found him... Easily, she defeats him as he's distracted by some little dagganoths.
She travels back to the great hall and gives the helm of Bardur to the Chief, as well as the gold.

The Blessed Family acquires Rellekka.

Amid all the hustle and bustle within the Capital of Prifdinnas the Grand Elder is found in one of the many gardens within the Cywirs District. There, he clears his mind and begins writing a letter.

Vice-Admiral Grey

I write to you with a heavy heart and clear conviction. We have been betrayed. The rumours of deceit and conspiracy are true and S13 was indeed behind many of the recent events that have led us to war. Though I believe Admiral Snow did what he thought was best for the kingdom, his actions can not be forgiven.

As you well know, Snow took the cowards way out and fled rather then face justice. The only bright side is that his ship was sunk and he is believed dead. He will not tarnish the kingdoms reputation any further. As such I am in need of a new Admiral. As the next highest ranking naval officer and most qualified for the position I congratulate you on your new promotion Admiral Grey. May you serve the kingdom and its Elders proudly and loyally.

Normally I would summon you to the Capital to make such an appointment however disturbing news requires action. There are reports of pirates attacking all along our coasts and that of the other kingdoms. Strangely these pirates seem more effective and organised then the usual rabble we cross paths with on the sea.

You are charged with the following orders:
-Hunt and destroy any pirate ship within our waters or that of our allies
-Commission new ships to aid in said patrols
- Escort any surviving pirates to Port Tyras for.. questioning.

May Seren's light guide you in your hunt.

Location:Aboard the Crystal Tide, In Thyssen Grey's personal quarters

Thyssen Grey and His most senior crew member,Godric, sat at a small table looking over reports from the past few days.

" Sir, this is my fifth letter about organized pirate raiding on our coastal lands" Godric said with a sigh.

"Godric you know I hate it when you call me Sir, need i remind you this could have been your spot? You just never wanted to leave my side long enough to take it. And yes i've had a few in my stack as well, blasted Snow gone off without saying anything leaving me all this paperwork." Grey sighed heavily, the wereabouts of the Admiral had been weighing on his mind for sometime, but it was not his place to worry.

Just then a messanger bird swooped in through an open window and landed on an empty chair next to Grey and offered his leg, with a message attached, to him. undoing the band that held the message, Thyssen took the scroll, taking note of the Grand Elders crest in the wax, broke it open and read.

Giving him time to read the letter Godric waited until it looked like his friend had finished reading and then asked," News from the capital?"

" Godric, isn't the Admiral the best person you've ever met?"

" Well I wouldnt say that..."

" You don't think I'm the best person you've ever met?" Thyssen asked with a crack of a smile starting to show.
It was the smile that gave him away and Godric jumping to his feet gave a big exclamation " You've been promoted! Congratulations!" and then with a playful smile Godric saluted and added "Admiral".

"Knock it of Godric!" Thyssen exclaimed " There are some concerning things in this letter i must tend to, why dont you fetch me 2 runners then take the rest of the day off and rest? Round up every sailor under the Crystal Banner and bring them all to the bar tonight. We will have a night of celebration!"

Godric knew when it was time to take his best friend as the ranking officer that he was, and with that he gathered his stuff to leave saluted and walked out the door to start rounding up the men.

Thyssen Grey, Now Admiral of the entire Crystal Fleet, Smiled even though he knew what the promotion ment. He would fill in the fleets crew that evening but in the mean time he took a couple pieces of parchment and inked out ship orders, one for the portmaster of Tyras and one for the portmaster of Taverly. In the letters he detailed the specifics he wanted for the newest ships in the fleet. He then took his signant ring, A Raven holding a dagger, and sealed them with wax and stamp.

He then took three sheets and inked out a couple letters of promotion. Sealing them the same way.

Leaning back Thyssen drifted off in his thoughts. Organized Pirate raids? Snow.. a traitor? and dead? One thinks for certain the next few week will be a test of ability. He smiles, he knew he was ready for this.

His thoughts were interuppted by the knock on his cabin door. He responded for the knocker to enter and in game the two runners. He handed the first runner the promotion letters and two names of who to deliver too. The second runner he handed the ship orders and the last promotion letter and instructions to have them taken to the bird cages and who they should be sent to. The runners left with a short verbal aknowledgement.

The Admiral leaned back in his chair again and drifted off in thought waiting for the day to turn night, it would be the last cheerful night for awhile.
