I think high level p2p is overpowered. I was slaying dark beasts yesterday and I could one hit them every time with a threshold ability. Divi and I did a social slayer task of abyssal demons in 15 minutes.
Mila, I duel wielded chaotic crossbows and longswords yesterday. Both are good :) .

i would advise doing the tutorial if you are having trouble with it all. the way dungeoneering is right now is a bit **aotic and the enemies are grossly underpowered, so i would take advantage of that and practice using abilities in there when possible and then move onto slayer tasks where weakness and strengths actually matter.
It's a strange situation you get put in where enemies hit you for 200s while you dish that back tenfold, which is insane when you consider who has the greater lifepoints. primal warriors have maybe 2000 lifepoints and a weakness to melee so 1 swift thwack with a 2h and they are done with. because of this i am finding that the only enjoyable thing about Dg are the bosses because they take a little while to take down and can actually kill you.
personally i would love to see "Thok floors" becoming available with multiple bosses per floor that we can dive into if the current population is going to be this, well, weak.
concerning mind/chaos/death/blood runes, they are used primarily in ancient magicks and partially in lunar, with the only standard spells being a few bolt enchantments.
as for which chaotic you should go for, because the rapier is no longer the slaying superweapon all the chaotics are up for grabs. as for offhands, i am avoiding them for now because, as said, the enhanced excalibur is so much better for just fractionally lower stats, but that is an elite task reward so isnt a viable option for everyone (unless the elite tasks just increase the passive effect).
but having said that, i have been slaying with a whip very easily so maybe a rapier is still the thing to aim for for now until a level ~70 tiered tradable 1 handed stab weapon becomes available. right now i just use Korasi's sword for stab tasks because things still drop fast. was getting laughed at by other slayers for using dual runexbows and royal dhide, how things have changed lol

While EOC is new and we're all figuring out the new system we are going to keep some core parts of our style the same until we decide a bigger change is necessary.
We are still KABDE.
We still open all rooms.
We still assign a farmer role to make skill pots.
We still have a keyer.
Please follow these style rules while doing dg4fun floors for now.

offhand eee is lower in stats than an offhand chaotic:
EEE: base damage = 428, accuracy = 700
CLs: base damage = 490, accuracy = 800
but the eee is one speed faster and passively heals you

My earlier post was not the final set of rules we will use. It was an attempt to stop people from doing rush floors or attempting completely change our style in other ways. There are many rush dungeoneering clans out there. We do not plan on becoming one of them. We want to keep our core values intact. That means providing relatively safe, relatively efficient, and completely fun floors.
The goal of the floor should not be about time. The goal should be to have a smooth, fun floor that everyone feels proud of.
Our style is KABDE. That means all floors should open all doors and kill everything but dead ends. We want to be efficient but not rushers.
We know that making armor is not very useful right now, so we are not saying you must do that. Other things might turn out to not be very useful either.
Skill pot doors still exist. For that reason we want the "farmer" role to still exist to make sure those pots are made. What's the best way to do that? You find out.
Some examples of how you can experiment within our style:
- Maybe it's more efficient to collect herbs from monster drops instead of farming them.
- Maybe an altar isn't needed.
- Maybe floor/boss pots aren't very helpful and can be cut out.
- Maybe momentum is almost as efficient as abilities.
- Maybe smashing everything with a maul is very efficient.
Some examples of what not to experiment in:
- Maybe we'd get better xp per hour if we only killed guardian doors.
- Maybe we can end without opening all the doors.
- Maybe we can fish because that's better fishing xp.
Most importantly, let's not get into fights over these experiments. Make sure that everyone on the team have an agreed upon style plan before going in.
