I personally don't mind people suiciding. I think that if they don't care about xp and want to conserve resources for the team that that's a very nice thing to do. The others get armor and food faster as a result. I haven't seen any of these people urging others to suicide as well, and I never see them complain about their deaths. I think it's pretty obvious to the others on the floor that they are not expected to do the same thing. Maybe if there was a newish person on the team it'd be worth it to explain the situation to them. Just saying "I'm 120 dung so I'm gonna suicide this floor. Don't worry about me." is all it would take. If the skiller forgets about that and makes you legs, be grateful and wear them :) .

I have no problem with people suiciding a floor either. To be honest, suiciding is fun on a floor. Once I reach 200m dg xp in a few days, I will probably be one of those suiciders. I think a suicider actually makes it easier on the people who are trying to stay alive. (as in food drops, plus they are turmoiling which speeds up the clearing of rooms) I think it is a good idea to explain that you are suiciding so others don't feel like they have to rush to keep up and not pick up food.

I am not for or against suiciding.
But I do remember a new recruit joining in dg4fun (120 dungeon already) - doing a no prestige floor, so he suicided and there was a big problem and he was so uncomfortable he left the fc permanently.
Perhaps there could be a guideline that no one on the team suicides when anyone on the team is doing a trial floor / is a brand new to the chat person?

It's easy to try to define a dungeoneering style with rules, but I think it ends up with too specific rules that hurt the group as a whole in an attempt to cure one off scenarios or specific people. If something becomes a common problem then we can make a rule. Until then I think common sense will suffice.
Maybe that common sense means that you explain why you're suiciding when going into a floor with someone who might not understand.
