"If you wear cosmetic skins in dungeons, tell the skiller/miner what you need or don't need since so far I have seen 90% of them assume you need a chain when they see you with no armor on. "
- Faster to check people's setups with ring than it is to ask and wait for reply.

the skins are cute but until i tried doing my quick glances on armour binds at the start of floors it never dawned on me that chest skins would mean searching for binds would be a lot more interface fighty.
a nice tip for people who are a little unsure on armour needs:
spy the inventories/equipment of fellow teammates while waiting for bars to smelt, this removes disorientation because you aren't moving from room to room while doing so and time waste because waiting for smelting is just time being spent doing nothing anyway so might as well use it for something :) it also reduces dialogue and can keep the team focused on the floor while you slave away at the hot coals
happy smithing :)

I honestly love dster's idea on the rank revamp, but perhaps the smiley rank could stay the way it is and give the old 'veterans' a leader rank, since most of them seem to do that anyway?
But looking at this on a broader POV I think you people are just trying to be nice and not pick on the ones who somehow got their rank and are still not up to par with a good floor's standards. This drags down dg4fun's standards, and the ones who suffer are the good dungers like Star(Kyrspeedy), XCIX, and Arepa (seen him spam/rage in a floor at a fighter and still didn't get a response, and ended up running to the said person's gate. It's almost embarrassing to watch).
I have seen occasionally now some are reluctant to form floors because they're not in the mood to put up with people who don't gate or are just plain slow. A few weeks ago I've tried to help someone who insisted on fishing/upgrading armour as a fighter and say "Well, people in my team are happy with what I'm doing" and they've been around a while before getting kicked. How did these people manage to stay in the clan, and more importantly, how did they get their ranks in the first place?
I'm not one who enjoys telling people what to do but evidently the keyer ranks need to make sure the said new member have a good understanding what to do in the floor, and aren't hesitant to correct anyone (including an existing rank) who stray from their role. The generals need to be more strict upon selecting keyer applicants and actually give ranks to those who'll feed the clan some quality people. Being nice does not mean quickly approving new applicants. Sorry if I sound harsh, but I really think this is the problem and it'll only get worse if we continue to let more illegitimate people join without giving the advice/support that they need.
(Sorry my late post on this topic)

(Been a while since I made a long post and actually reached my character limit haha)
Re. people who wear cosmetics in dungeons, as a regular dual skiller I've felt the pain of having to figure out who needs a chain so hopefully this idea'll help some miners to check people equipments as soon as possible, preferably while fighting/mining so you don't actually waste time standing around and checking out your team mates ;)

Tho I completely understand the furstration, I also think that in this case it's equally wrong of people to NOT form floors due to non-gaters or slow people. If there is anything wrong with a particular player, it would be better to talk with the gens about it, rather than to avoid forming floors.
And to not form floors cos there are only "slow people" in the fc, just sounds plain wrong. The slow people needs the training to become more efficient. The "faster" people needs to be team players enough to help out with that.
But again - yea, I do understand the frustration.
