Well I am going to try to adjust to Eoc, would hate to just walk away now, even though I cannot stand it. As for Nex, (which is my favorite boss) it requires alot of movement, running around, moving camera angles. It is not like Bandos where you can put your camera looking one way and stay that way for 3 hours.

Yes, but that's why there are hotkeys - so you don't have to. I assume you mean so you can maintain a free hand for camera rotation, but I suspect that, in intense combat, a fixed camera is the lesser of two evils. I know that, in LoL at least, it's a pretty severe handicap of your combat ability to have to click on your skills or item activations(I know this because I used to click my items for activation before I found the hotkeys for them, and I almost never made it in time).
But it's possible that, in Runescape at least, clicking the abilities in combat is more feasible - as I said, I've never played the beta, so all I have are assumptions about how it might work based on similar systems I've used elsewhere.

lol Yes I know you can activate abilities by clicking them. I still think the whole thing is awkward and not user friendly. Also, it is impossible at Nex to maintain a fixed camera. She moves, the teleports, she runs behind pillars and chandeliers.

i feel i must apologise for trying to push the EoC without a proper knowledge of it. i neglected to add endgame combat content into my testing like the GWD. seeing as i used to ignore it in the live game, it is predictable that that ignorance would carry over when i went into the beta and im annoyed that i missed that and potentially/probably (im betting more on probably) ****** people off because of this.
for slayer the EoC isnt that much of a difference, it feels to me like normal combat except you have a tons of spec weapons that you can use if you want to but dont have to because its slayer and im high levelled and you hit pretty decent with abilities, with just momentum, or just afk'ing. But damn when you actually need to use abilities i can see the problems now.
i attempted kiln on beta (yes i know this is nothing compared to nex, but its me, im a massive nub) and i did find it rather "aww jagex, you seem to have let dr octopus back into the dev team again, but what about us people without 4 extra biomechanical arms?". angling the camera while simultaneously clicking to move with one hand glued to abilities is so fiddly i dread to think what nex is like with her crazy decorating and animations.
yes the scroll wheel does provide some assistance but you have to get the timing exactly right or you get disorientated and end up misclicking.
maybe they could add something that means you can configure which buttons control the camera so that abilities and camera controls can be clustered together at your will to make it more user friendly. or add WASD controls. just something so that it can remove the need for a third arm. i really dont want to buy a stupidly overpriced mouse to potentially pvm with friends on a game i play to relax.
and yes, i am finally agreeing that bossing in unbelievably fun

tbh if solomon offered some form of real world body modification i think a third arm is the least of what i would ask for :D maybe a third eye or a mouth in the palm of each hand to turn clay explosive

also is anyone a little unnerved by MMG and Mod Mark stating that they have been fine tuning botwatch to evolve and adapt to new botting software? i just want to make sure that we are all on the same wavelength when we are planning an assault of cambridge to take out Botwatch after it deems humanity as the evil and the bots as legitimate players forcing us to braindive into the net to take down dfdffddf2501 (the bot commander of district uk)

Don't know if you've seen yet, but if you haven't take a trip down to W1 GE sometime - adbots "blowing up" and suffocating (as they're banned by the autosystem, not muted, but banned) within minutes of showing up. Looks like something's working, and its quite entertaining to watch!

i know :P but it appears i was leading into a skynet/matrix style conspiracy post apolcalyptic tech uprising for comic effect in my sleep deprived, hyperactive state :P
i welcome an ever evolving antibot software, just as long as it doesnt get a hold of nuclear launch codes
