I'm with you on this one, Jig - even if I was still an active player, I'd be taking a week or so off after an update like that to make sure there weren't any issues to be worked out.
I've always been suspicious of new updates, certainly since the RoW glitch at the corporeal beast(that they didn't go and correct, by the way, even though they had all the relevant information they needed to manually remove the ill-gotten wealth from all affected accounts), so there's nothing quite like the possibility of an automatic account deletion with no human oversight to make me uncomfortable with the thought of playing during one.

I just made a funny realization. When I read the updates to Solomon's General Store I keep thinking I'm reading a email from a Nigerian prince asking me for help to get his 100 million dollars that the Swiss banks are holding. I swear the tone of the text is the same.

Massive Side Note: As someone from the south, how does everyone else get through normal conversations without the use of the word "Ya'll". I always try to avoid using it in text, but it is a crucial word in vocal conversations with other people irl down here.

we in scotland do not deal with messy, confusing apostrophes! we just stick an "s" on the end :D (how are yous?)
mainly an in person thing but i see it a lot in text
of course it looks a bit messy itself so im for "you all" or just the collective "you" (you will be assimilated *"the collective", couldn't resist*)
but tbh, i would go for y'all :P

I tried using Skype a lil bit in the beginning of my dg4fun membership, but I soon discovered that it stressed me to pieces. I'm a multitasking noob, lol. Upon that I'm pretty shy, and not that good on asking ppl to give me some space >.< Talking with ppl in several different channels at the same time (while trying to play) just didn't work that well. Had to quit to save my sanity.
