I'm not sure it's possible for someone else to replicate how Scope selects which trades to use. That's the thing. It seems that the FC has gone from using a method where a handful of people subjectively determine ranges to one that endorses a list of recent trades generated by one person who subjectively selects which trades to use.
I think it's an improvement and I don't distrust Scope, but IMO subjectively opens the FC up to criticism and the never ending conspiracy theories that abound

From my understanding we aren't saying "These are the prices for phats", we are just directing them to Scope's post because he lists the last 10 trades, which people can use to base their decisions on. His prices still suffer from lack of reported updates unfortunately. "I have kissed a guy" ~Popfrog

What I was saying was that it appeared to me that Scope was using a different method to determine which trades were "legit" than the FC historically had. I wasn't aware that the FC had changed their policy for which trades to include in range item compilations a while ago and that Scope's method is indeed consistent with FC policy. I spoke with Trips and he confirmed that. Sorry for the bother...
