R Quark is now referring players to Scope's compilation of most recent trades, but does that create a conflict at all since he doesn't use only confirmed trades that meet the FC standard? At least he didn't last I knew. He explained how he decides which to toss on one of his posts in the status thread, v45 I think. Don't get me wrong, I think getting rid of the ranges is good and overdue. I'm just wondering how the FC is dealing with that apparent discrepancy or doesn't it care?
Edit - added for context
Here's his quote from V45:
"I don't use just exclusively confirmed trades, but will use all trades that appear to be genuine based on the price reported, confirmation by the other party either in forums or fc or pm, forum post/thread histories, information from people with knowledge of the situation, and direct or situational knowledge based on personal experiences. When I can't quite place a trade as fake, I tend to err on the side of inclusion as the calculation has an outlier component that weights those trades very minimally (for instance see how the 9325 green basically got ignored by the formula)."
Just saying that this appears to vary from the criteria historically used by the FC.
