I do not understand why a forum even has 50 pages when everything beyond page 20 clearly is unwanted.. but logic does not actually come in to play when a decree is made... does it.. ?

So, clearly this discussion is pointless, Jagex decided that making more threads, duplicate ones even though it is expressly against the written rules , and clearly only ads to the volume instead of cleaning up the forums is the way to go.
So lets get out the old ctrl-c and ctrl-v ...

Somehow fitting to the medieval fantasy theme of this game.. when the King proclaims that the sky is yellow, it is yellow and obviously our own eyes are wrong when they tel us it is blue.

Yeah it's kinda a lose/lose situation with this new gravebumping secret rule. In the code of conduct it says "Do not post a new thread when the discussion point has already been raised in other recent threads – use the search feature on the forums to check first!" yet when one searches and finds and posts on such a thread, sometimes it is a month old thread and will be locked for grave bumping. To me, in a forum that holds threads that are years old, as well as being stagnant, one month between posts doesn't seem to be that long a time. To a new forumer, they probably have no idea that a grave bumping rule exists. Especially as there is no mention of such a rule in the code of conduct.

Anyways, I have had my rant on the matter. Back to lurking. :)

To address the original point: This forum is not for reporting in game bugs, there's a report bug feature for that. If you think it's a bug, report it. If it turns out to be a bug, it will enter our system for fixing.

In addition to that some of the behaviour displayed on this thread is really disappointing to see from those who should be leading our clan communities. Bickering and nitpicking diminishes you and it saddens me to see it here. Mod Maz

I haven't seen anything wrong in this thread except a discussion about what some people find as a pointless rule and if you want to point out your disappointment in that about "people who should be leading our communities" then in turn im quite happy to point out my disappointment in the people "who should be running our game"

Theres nothing wrong with nitpicking and maybe if this logic had been implied to oh i dunno INVENTION then maybe it wouldnt have been the complete mess it was on release day.

But then again we dont wanna hear about all the bad stuff thats been going wrong we just wanna stick our fingers in our ears and blame the players for being such whiners dont we.

Agreed Scret, on most of your points.

I'm disappointed that someone would rather make an ad hominem style argument about clan leaders rather than engage any arguments in a meaningful and productive way to enhance the utility of the forum.

Honestly this is why I much prefer Reddit where mods and players are on equal footing and not talked down to as if we are younger/less mature/less intelligent

I agree with Maz. As representatives of our clans, we should be here to collaborate with one another to make the clan community better as a whole. It's honestly a shame that people here are choosing to act so immaturely.

So discussing a rule which some people clearly are somewhat bothered by is immature and pointless yet starting a crusade to tray and get your clan mate back into the CLF isnt? I am confused whats the difference here?
