If all this isn't possible due to technical issues.
Maybe having an extra possibility in our chat options to allow us to chose if F2P people can talk in the cc would at least be something?
Nothing close to what's actually asked here, just thinking outloud
That would help. Though I would like a deeper option to allow/disallow F2P from being able to join the Clan Channel altogether.

as for my clan, we never had problems with guests / previous members coming and going and causing chaos in the clan etc, however i owned a previous clan and well lets say some members left due to myself kicking one of there friends out of clan for due reason, and then they caused chaos etc
anyways i support this thread

update on my previous post, again i have members who left the clan , made a new clan and still came as guest as to well im 100% on some of them to cause problems, as for now i have to keep guests to join close unless i am online.
but i still in support of this thread, but what would be good if there were like maybe no key ranks online to approve it then when the owner or key ranks get online then a pop up message comes up asking to approve / deny bla bla bla username to guest. or that key ranks go to clan settings to check to see if there are any to approve / deny.

I'll hold out for a white list for approved permanent guests. To require someone to approve a guest visit each and every time would upset the dynamic of our clan. We have a number of players who guest in our clan chat because of long term friendships developed from d&ds like stars. We don't actively recruit but prefer to keep our chat open to visitors.
