Just as a note, I'm not going to be doing more work on this until we hear back from JMods. Don't want to unnecessarily put more work in where there doesn't need to be any yet :P

Not to toot my own horn on this one... I am probably the most experienced combat scer still active. As for resources, don't give it too much thought, I'll post later today on everything we would possibly need for this. Tbh, as I think about it, the sc cup would provide the least amount of work.

Okay, now that my work day is done, I shall present you with my SC Combined Cup setup. The "maging without runes" bug has been fixed so the game of SC is as fair as it will ever be.


All games will be on clanside.
All games will be 10v10. (Used to be 20v20, but was hard to pull that many people for SC)
The format will be single elimination tournament.
Each thread will have the following format for setting up a battle.
The clans can choose Best-of-1 or Best-of-3. Excluding the finals, finals will be best of 3.

Clan Matchup: ClanA vs ClanB
Day: Saturday, July 30th 2016
Time: 7PM EDT (12AM BST & 9AM AEST)
World: 45
Best 2 out of 3

Each clan will be responsible for taking a screenshot of the final scoreboard and recommended one person from each clan record a video of the game (unedited) to prevent any disputes. These may be used as evidence.


Personally, as you stated above, a majority of disputes will be based on memberlists and multiclanning. This won't be a problem since a tech will screenshot the memberlists prior to cup start.

As for resources, I think this will take even less work than PvP cup which i thought was real easy. (is only easier because you have various cups).

As for a team in this catagory, I think for SC cup we would need a lead organizer, maybe 1 assistant and a tech for the registration deadline. Nothing else needed.

BO3's and BO1's are pretty different and test different things, and can lead to upset wins if the default is BO1 if the clans do not agree. I'd personally say should just let it be static BO3 until the finals, where if you wanted to you could go BO5, but even then I think BO3 would be sufficient. I guess what I'm saying is I'm OK with BO1, but it shouldn't be the default ruleset used.
The rest of what you said though is great and actually alot of what we did during the 2013 Non-Combat Cup. I'll see if I can pull up the old Doc for it later in the week for you.

Since it seems like Shauny's still game I'll put some work in on the weekend (earliest probably Thursday) on the PVM Cup doc and polish it up. I guess for now Calm feel free to post the Discord link that'd be cool. Leader of the Slayer Nest . Join us today!

Maybe we can do a Legacy SC cup instead, so there can be no abuse to use spells without runes.

And best not to do BO1 for SC cause then the team where the C5 + kiln comes closest wins. Best seems BO3, maybe BO5 if both parties want.

Players must just post like 10 names and only those can take part for that round, and isn't 5v5 best for SC as more people makes it harder to get higher individually scores. Ceecs - leader of Ceecs Clan

Oow is it fixed - I didn't know that as I only do non-combat sc with Fast Sc. Well in that case I'd like to support the SC cup if no other bugs or so can be exploited Ceecs - leader of Ceecs Clan
