RULES FOR *ALL* CUPS

- Any Cup with fewer than 16 sign-ups will be cancelled.

- Breaking any game rules that affect the competition may result in action being taken in the competition.

- Breaking competition rules will result in action.

- Multiclanning (competing for more than one clan) is NOT allowed, even if your previous clan has been knocked out of the tournament.

- Clans may NOT field players outside of their official clan. A result obained using players not in your clan will cause the result to be ignored and may end in disqualification from the Cup.

- Serious flaming and causing distress to other participants is not tolerated if the behaviour is clearly related to the Clan Cup. This includes directly obstructing other participants from competing.

- If any changes to the initial Cup rules are necessary, they will not be imposed retroactively.

HOW THE IRON SKILLING CUP WORKS

Competitors use newly created F2P ironmen accounts to gain as much xp as possible in the skill(s) specified each week. There is a time limit of 6 hours gameplay.

Cups available:

- Fishing/Cooking
- Mining/Smithing
- Crafting
- Runecrafting

Steps for competing:

.: 0 :.
Create 4 F2P ironman accounts. Provide your clan representative with their exact name.

.: 1 :.
An Iron Skilling Cup Registration thread will be made each week for clan representatives to list their competitors for the NEXT week. This thread will close at game reset on Saturday.

.: 2 :.
Use *one* account for each of the 4 Iron Skilling Cup weeks.
! DO NOT PLAY ON AN ACCOUNT UNTIL THE COMPETITION STARTS FOR THE WEEK YOU'LL BE USING IT IN !
! DO NOT BUY MEMBERSHIP ON ANY ACCOUNT !

.: 3 :.
Find out what the week’s skill is on the week’s Iron Skilling Cup thread. The creation of this thread will signal the start of the week's competition.

.: 4 :.
Get as much xp as possible in the chosen skill in 6 hours.
You will have to keep track of the total time yourself to make sure you do not exceed the limit. Your account's adventurers log will display how many hours you've played but not how many minutes into that hour you are.

! MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT PLAY ON THE ACCOUNT FOR MORE THAN 6 HOURS !
! TIME SPENT IN THE LOBBY WILL COUNT TOWARDS THE TOTAL TIME !

.: 5 :.
Clan ranks for each week will be based off the average xp over the best 5 accounts for each clan. The Clan with the best ranking across the 4 weeks will win the Iron Skilling Cup.

IRON SKILLING CUP RULES

- All participating accounts must be brand new

- All participating accounts must be F2P for the whole competition

- No name changes. If a name is changed, the account will be disregarded.

- If xp is gained on the ironman before the week's competition starts, the participant will be disqualified. Players may not begin to gain xp on the account until after the weekly Iron Skilling thread has been posted on Monday.

- Playing for over 6 hours will cause the result to be ignored. There is a grace time of 30 minutes; for every minute past the 6 hour mark, xp will be deducted on an exponential basis.
