The change was made to prevent fraud by RWT traders and hackers. You can still use the boosters on your own clan mates, but we have removed the trade option due to naughty people being very naughty.
Thats weird, i cant think of how this could be used in that way, no more so than any other form of RWT item.
Lots of accounts with lots of loyalty points I would assume, easy money.
As is with any sort of massive amount of wealth on an account though?

I heard (cannot confirm it) that someone 'duped' it or something on those lines and was selling it on G.E and to prevent everyone from doing it this action was taken now as opposed to changing it on a Monday update like normal.
This would make sense but wouldnt that result in just fixing the dupe glitch and eventually re-releasing it intended?

I was not even aware this item was tradable on the GE. I feel bad for players that invested in these as they are now untradable and these players had no time to exit their positions.
My concern is that now the only way to obtain this is to:
1. Buy it yourself (incredibly overpriced compared to other Solomon items),
2. Receive the item as a gift from clan leaders (again - incredibly overpriced)
3. Trust Trade - which opens people up for more fraud (not to mention headaches for clan leaders!)
While I am not a fan whatsoever of this update - infact, I abhor MTX - at least having it on the GE created a market (and many would argue a significantly cheaper way to obtain the advantages than the Solomon Store prices).
If it is still usable on other players - won't trust trading still be an issue? Seems like removing it from the GE is also removing the player market place and safeguards provided to players by using the player trade system or GE transactions. This update seems even less viable now.
To me - it seems like a step in the wrong direction for a very misguided update.

Trust trading shouldnt be an issue, people do it at their own risk like with any item, it always sucks when someone gets scammed but we cant baby people through the game, if you take part in trust trading then be prepared for the consequences on top of that its not really that much gp to get scammed with either, like 500k at the most?
"opens up to more fraud" im not sure fraud is the right term to apply to trust trading and in game scamming & isnt what was meant by the change made.

As I said this is a step in the wrong direction. Why not just fix the bug or whatever caused this update and be done with it. Why make it more difficult to obtain / trade this item? Thats my point.
And as for my use of the word fraud, its accurate - but I'm not going to argue semantics here.
yea but it seems to be something that obviously cant be sorted by a bug fix.
Fraud is a lot different than just in game scamming, what fraud can you get from just trust trading? No one uses the word fraud to describe scamming in game.
Its not semantics, i dont know what you are referring to by using the word fraud.

Ya know prices should be lowered not by the reasoning that we think they should be lower but by the reasoning they simply will not sell well at that price, its just not worth it. In a market were the majority of players dont even delve into MTX you need to at least offer a price that will appeal.
There were very few in our clan that even realised the item existed.
