The title says it all

I'm really upset with the change which was done this morning at 9:15am which can be seen here.

A lot of clan leaders were frustrated with the update of citadel boosters as it was MXT which can be seen from previous theads - Granted I was frustrated myself I was happy that atleast we were able to buy it from the G.E

I would like to know why the ability to trade them on the ge was removed? If it is due to players making money then I would argue it is the same with bonds - If there is demand and supply there then why stop it? - If a player wishes to buy it for real life money and then supply it then thats their call but you then have players who were willing to buy it from the ge which means there was demand. -Granted that it can still be bought and used on a person instead of trading

Many players simply do not have the money irl to buy runecoins or the spare loyalty points to the citadel boosters in the first place. The price of a single citadel booster stands at 100 runecoins or 75K loyaty points which I think is completely unfair. A lot of players are saving up their loyalty points for auras for skilling or bossing so could not buy the booster and not everyone has the money irl to buy it

And before someone mentions completing offers - I personally along with my clan members have completed alot of offers and the vast majority of the time was not given the reward which was stated.

Myself and my clan leaders were giving buying and giving out citadel boosters as rewards and incentives and it was working fine - so I simply cannot understand why the change was needed?

I do have some solutions?

Get a citadel booster after ever 2-3 caps from the clan quatermaster?

Earn them through ingame activity?

Lower the price to buy them from solomons?

For everyone else:

Do you agree? disagree? why? with the change which has been made?

Do you have any other solutions which you can think of?

They shouldn't have been in Solomon in the first place is my opinion.

I doubt anyone beside clan leaders actually buy those boosters, but now it is so that u can only use them on clanmates is that correct?

So u can still buy boosters but must do it with Runecoins/Loyalty Points for clannies to help them out.

To answer your questions:

Get a citadel booster after ever 2-3 caps from the clan quatermaster?

- This might be a good idea, earn one with fealty 3. Or make a fealty level 4, which does not give extra exp but allows to reward a booster. But decrease fealty in futur even if the person did not visit citadel that week.

Earn them through ingame activity?

- Maybe, not sure which. Maybe add them to thaler shop?

Lower the price to buy them from solomons?

- Agreed, they too exspensive for a 1x use item! I am thinking on 10 - 20 Runecoins and perhaps 12,5K Loyalty points (1/6th of current, and allow people to buy atleast 1/month from their normal Loyalty points)

I neither agree or disagree with the change, I simply just dont see the point to this change unless there is going to be a possible future change to how we obtain them. so maybe thats the thinking behind it?

I was thinking the same as well, but it seems more unlikely than not. It could very well be an attempt to force clan leaders to buy them directly off Solomon, so they can no longer resort to G.E, and must consume either bonds or Runecoins to purchase them.

because big shock, no one wants to pay the solomon store price for them.

I would say lowering the cost on solomons would be a better solution to that scenario but I really couldnt tell you what the thought behind it is. I am a little perplexed tbh.

You can still use them on clan members, so what's the problem?
