Again, I'm not trying to argue. I just wanted to express my feelings on that. I 100% support CLC and would gladly contribute to improving your server if you asked. I just felt I needed to make a personal statement about what you said.

Regardless of the outcome of the election, we all agreed to run CLD equally, and have been doing so. @Lisaa_RS - Followed by @Runescape

CLD is under new leadership and I would appreciate if people would stop treating CLD like it's still running in the past.

You may think the way CLD is run is too "simplistic" Esploratore but it works and we are making progress and if you don't like the new leadership of CLD and it's features then you're quite welcome to leave immediately.

I find your opinion is biased due to the fact that you are most active in CLC anyway and are not aware of how CLD is progressing as is run. I am also aware several people have a grudge over Rob who has stepped down.

Every clan leader has an opportunity to be in any Discord and on CLF as an equal so I suggest you all stop living in the past and holding disgusting grudges against him or anyone and start treating eveyone equally. Not fair at all.

CLD is run by community votes/discussion and ideas - let me make that very clear that it is community powered .

I don't appreciate the 2 servers being compared against one another and I find it quite pathetic.

I have answered what the community majority has requested and we continue to operate in peaceful community and so should you.

If you're going to compare and critise then expect opinions like Rob's.

I don't wish to see anymore pitiful drama over the servers as I'm aware there isn't just CLC and CLD so get over it.

We're here on CLF to discuss/promote and build ideas to present to Jagex for clans and uniting as one for the cause so let's get back to concentrating on Jagex thanks.

We're here as leaders and should act like one.

I didn't think it would stop, here we go again.

Why the paragraph defending the CLD? It's clear to me that Esploratore was simply rebutting what Rob was claiming that the CLC had apparently done. Do you think the CLD is unique? that did peak my interest, it's good that you've decided for change and it's being community ran with opinions gathered via discord emoji's, but that's not unique i'm afraid, i've been doing that for years myself in my own clan/raid discord, which I copied from my our clan facebook group. It's a simple way of collecting feedback than having to trawl through everyones replies to gather what they would want to be done.

I don't believe it's pathetic to compare two discords that are clan related feature wise, there is only one person who I believe who has gone past that in this thread, and yes, it's pathetic.

I have no real desire for either of the servers to outcompete each other, I wasn't happy with how the CLD was ran so I left without making any fuss. I had no interest in starting my own, but it appears that some others did so I was intrigued and joined their server as I liked what was advertised. Nobody has a monopoly on clan leader discords, some people should think about that. For those that do, I have decided that there should only be one clan, mine. So please present yourself to me ingame and you shall join my clan.

Now, my real concern is that this drama keeps getting spilled over to the clan leader forum, a forum which isn't as moderated by Jmods anymore as it once was when Matthe was the curator. Shauny can't be blamed for this, he seems to be juggling several different jobs at once so he doesn't have the time to check in as much.

Not everyone here is a leader of a clan, I say we should act like a decent human being to each other. The main focus of this forum is to provide feedback/suggestions to Jagex, it's never strayed from that, not sure why you thought it had?

I'd like to point out something ... did this debate start with someone actually saying what they liked about CLC as a response to a question from someone?

Since this post IS actually about the CLC is that not a totally reasonable thing for Esploratore to do?

Rob replied, yes. But he did not reply to the concepts that were espoused. He replied in terms of technical functionality. That is his strength. No one can deny that is his strength. I fully admire Rob for his technical expertise and the visions he has to use that to help clans. Some things are facts.

The CLC is not in competition with anyone. We are not trying to grab attention or in any way detract from what CLD currently is, was or will become. In fact all but 1 of our helpers/team are active participants in CLD. There have been no attempts whatsoever from people in CLC who are also in CLD to derail it in any way. Sadly the opposite is not true (dm me on discord Noeticus#4729 if you want to see transcripts). Cooperation is still the goal I am most hoping for.

One day, sooner rather than later I hope, Rob and Macka will realize that the two groups are complementary and that the concept of a 'conflict of interest' if any of the CLD staff actually assist CLC in any way is truly one way. Lets talk. There is only ONE interest as far as I am concerned.

WEEKLY PROGRESS REPORT 3


Project 1 player survey is very close to finalized, it has been a much larger job than anticipated to get it into google forms - getting the flow of questions is key as well as eliminating redundancy

Project 2 clan leader survey has now got enough questions to progress into google forms as soon as player survey is publicized

Project 3 key info from the clf thread JMod Feedback is being put into a spreadsheet, which will have a clf only version and a more public version eventually

Project 4 not yet started

There is a Project 5 which is going to be a video but scripting will need to be done by opt in rather than made public so dm me on discord if you are interested Noeticus#4729. I have asked WillMissIt to make it for us and he said yes, but it has to fit with his schedule.
